i have an 8 month old guiena pig named sadie. When i let her out of her cage to roam around the house.......she usually ends up eating the carpet and chewing on the corners of the rugs in the house. What can i do to keep her from eating the carpet, i dont want her to get sick!PLease help

is it common for certain breeds of rabbits to become deaf or something? or is it just an odd thing? i discovered my rabbit was deaf after picking him up from the street, he was lost or abandoned, never scared of anything. realized he was deaf when didnt react to any noises i made, not scared of lightning, nor fireworks, nor doors slamming nor clapping hands. is it common for certani breeds to become deaf? anyone ever owned a deaf rabbit??

Im going camping for 10 days and most of my family lives out of town so i dont have any body to leave him with.I dont wanna leave him alone. Im going to Garner state park near uvalde tx. It will be very hot but it is vary shady.I will be in a tent and i will have a battery operated fan. When i usually go there are not that many wild animals around. But will he survive in heat?
