is it common for certain breeds of rabbits to become deaf or something? or is it just an odd thing? i discovered my rabbit was deaf after picking him up from the street, he was lost or abandoned, never scared of anything. realized he was deaf when didnt react to any noises i made, not scared of lightning, nor fireworks, nor doors slamming nor clapping hands. is it common for certani breeds to become deaf? anyone ever owned a deaf rabbit??

any type of animal can be deaf ...in the wild tho a deaf animal doesn't survive very long but in domestic animals that are bred for pets it is common for all sorts of problems to occur even deafness.. its just that most people dont notice that their pet is deaf they just think its ignoring them..lol..and yes i have had a deaf rabbit b4 it was the best pet rabbit my kids ever had because it was easy to catch when out of its cage...

Don't know about how common it is, but a good friend has a deaf bunny and it has and is still leading a good long healthy life. The only thing you probably have to watch out for is that it won't react to noises and other animals, so just keep it away from small children and don't leave it outside.

well yes no kind of when i was very young i had a stuffed bugs bunny with the neck didnt have any stuffing left and it all ways looked down when i set on the bed
