Animal hospitals and vet offices need someone to come in and feed the animals that have to stay overnight. That person also has to clean out the cages, take them out for some excersise, etc.
Pet stores are the same way and no kill shelters.
There's also the exciting world of dog grooming, she can probably get hired to assit a groomer and train to be a groomer herself.

I have my own in-home pet sitting business where I go to peoples houses while theyre away and feed there pets and play with them and the normal pet stuff. Also, my dad is a wildlife biologist, and he studies our native wild animals, and he says it's an awesome job. You could also go into a zoo keeper,a zoologist, a marine biologist, or a pet bakery person. There are a lot of those in LA and Hollywood, and I've heard they're really lucretive!

A veterinarian, worker at a pet store, or a zoo keeper. There are plenty more though.

Tell her that she can find a job at Petco, Petsmart, etc. You work with animals there.
