Sounds like he is a Mini Lop. There are several recognized lop eared breeds. Here are the recognized lop breeds and what weights they tend to reach:

American Fuzzy Lop: 4 lb
Holland Lop: 4 lb
Mini Lop: 6.5 lb
English Lop: 11-12 lb
French Lop: 11-15 lb

Your rabbit should be done growing if it is 2 years old.

Rabbits have an average lifespan of 7-10 years. They vary dramatically in size and can be anywhere from 2 pounds up to 20 pounds, although most domestic breeds are on the smaller end of the scale.

It can vary greatly. Our smallest breeds, the Netherland Dwarf and Britannia Petite are usually around 2 lbs. My own Petite is onlt 1 lb, 11oz right now.

The largest breed, the Flemish Giant, can tip the scales at over 20lbs.

I think a good 'average' weight would be 6-8 pounds, though. Many rabbit breeds fall within or near that range.

I have a foundling Mini Lop mix who's about 7lbs as well. As long as they don't look or feel fat, your lop is okay!
