Maybe a slight change in color of the feathers?

...No...Is this a serious question? If a turkey is missing feathers in an area and is outside for a long time they will get sunburn, but not a tan. And if you mean their white feathers, no, their feathers don't change color and not all turkeys are white. There are also 'bronze' turkeys and other different colored breeds.
