Well animals love unconditionally, people often have conditions. Animals accept you for the way you are and don't expect you to be smarter or more popular or wear certain clothes or act a certain way. In many ways you and your pets have a perfect relationship, you accept the cat is a cat and don't expect it to act like a dog.
In many relationships we meet people and want to change them or hope they change into someone else or become someone else better with time.
But after seeing the Anderson Cooper interview with Angelina Jolie about the UN and they talked about the horrors happening in the Congo, it became clear how cruel and inhumane human kind actually is.

I have 2 dogs now, Nini and Mimi. Before, I am not much of an animal / pet lover but my 2 dogs converted me big time. There's no work day that I did not feel good about going home because I am sure that they will be at my doorsteps eagerly waiting for me. They both sleep in my bedroom and it just felt good that they are always with me. :)

I love all animals, except the ones that want to bite or eat me. I don't hate the ones that want to bite or eat me, but I would rather avoid them.

everybody at one point of our lives need the company of an animal, they help us in many ways and we can learn a lot of things from them, even that they don't speak their behavior tells a lot.
