Would that have caused the Sudanese to uproar even more? Her students voted for it and she allowed it. If she would have taken a stand and said, "No, I will not allow you to name the Bear Muhammad", wouldn't that be a bigger slap in the face to the Sudanese Muslims?

Do you agree it is right for this man to *ahem* cough up?

A sperm donor who helped a lesbian couple have two children is now being forced to pay thousands of pounds for their upbringing, he said.

Andy Bathie, 37, agreed to assist Sharon and Terri Arnold - who were united in a religious blessing ceremony - after they assured him he would have no involvement in raising the boy and girl.

But after the couple slit up he was tracked down by the Child Support Agency and forced to make regular maintenance payments.

Mr Bathie, a fireman from Enfield, north London, said the financial burden was preventing him from starting his own family.

their excuse for not taking the lie detector test (even though they said they would) was that it isn't 100% accurate, but in your opinion, why wouldn't they want to assist the PJ by answering the standard 40 questions?

The USA will come aboard? And what a joke, read the 3rd last paragraph on this re China and India's excuse...I wonder who those people are trying to fool there. Like they could care less about either the people or the environment...not much difference however amongst all these countries in the long run on this issue.

.... desperately hoping to find any old bit of tabloid garbage, in some laughable attempt to give credence to their completely unsubstantiated belief that the McCanns are guilty of manslaughter or worse?

why are they so small-minded that they care so much about 2 people whom they've never even met, when there's a million more important things going on in the world?

is it just proof that the tabloids serve the government by obfuscating reality so that small-minded people get distracted and so are oblivious to the real crimes committed by people in power every single day?

Respected Spanish newspaper "El Mundo" has written about a bloody towel found at a barn in Portugal which has forensic evidence on it linking it to both Madeleine and the renault scenic hired by the McCanns. Police were led to the barn after intercepting phone calls made by Gerry McCann and Russell O'Brien. Both of these deny being there but the phone calls provide irreputable proof that they are lying. Scroll down the link to the Google translation, it provides interesting reading.

People who rely on motorised scooters to help to cope with disabilities are to be hit with a £300 tax, after an EU ruling that they should be categorised along with “leisure vehicles”.
The electric power-driven wheelchairs with flexible handlebars are used by people with severe mobility difficulties, such as disabled ex-servicemen. They are now taxed in the same class as snowmobiles, jet skis and racing cars.

Well, first I have to say that I have a tough time calling many of these people refugees. After 60 years and 2 generations your not a refugee anymore, your a person living somewhere else.
I think these two quotes sum it up well.
"The fact that there are these refugees is the direct consequence of the action of the Arab states in opposing the Jewish entity. The Arab states agreed upon this policy unanimously and they must share in the solution of the problem they created." Emil Ghouri, Secretary of the Arab Higher Committee (Beirut Daily Telegraph ,6 Sept. 1948.)

"Since 1948 we have been demanding the return of the [Arab] refugees to their homes. But we ourselves are the ones who encouraged them to leave. Only a few months separated our call to them to leave and our appeal to the United Nations to resolve [the refugee crisis] on their return." -Syrian PM 1948-49 Khalid Azzam

I would have more, but it limits the number of characters you can type.

Foreign observers have said that Russia's parliamentary election, won by President Vladimir Putin's party, was "not fair".

The statement was made by a joint observer team of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Council of Europe.

With nearly 98% of ballots counted, Mr Putin's United Russia had 64.1% of Sunday's vote.

Opposition claims of fraud have been rejected by the electoral commission.

The election "was not fair and failed to meet many OSCE and Council of Europe commitments and standards for democratic elections," the observers from the OSCE's Parliamentary Assembly and the Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly told a news conference in Moscow.

now this (small) band of Muslims who happen to be British protested outside the Sudanese embassy.
How right are they in saying what they did.??? The nutters are dragging down the peaceful lot. It warmed the cockles of my heart to see this little demo.
Does anyone know if this was organised by the Muslim council of GB, or was it just these individuals??
Thanks

A British Diplomat in Portugal had serious doubts about the authenticity of the McCanns version of the events of May 3rd. So much so that he sent letters to the foreign office questioning the unswerving support being given to the McCanns, pointing out to them that there were too many inconsistencies in the Tapas nine's version of events. The support the McCanns received during the early months is rapidly fading into the distance as the long awaited D.N.A. results far from clearing the McCanns open up the way to more questioning of the Tapas group. There can now be no doubt that there is enough forensic evidence to link the McCanns to their daughters disappearance, just not enough it seems to bring about charges AT THIS TIME. My question is this, can anyone still blindly believe the McCanns without question in light of the fact that not only the Portuguese but the British authorities now also admit to having serious doubts regarding the McCanns story.
