I believe that Gillian's attitude despite her ordeal shows that the Sudan people have lost a great educator.

Despite everything she still has good things to say about Sudan and it's people. I think it shows great strength and substance of character. I feel sorry that she has gone through this ordeal and I feel sorry for her pupils who have lost a great teacher.

There are so many out there who have jumped on the bandwagon of trashing all Muslims on the back of this controversy, yet despite being in the centre of it she remains positive towards the people.

She is truly a wonderful role model.

What do you think?

Back in 2005 Alabama state senator Hank Erwin said about the reason for Hurricane Katrina:

"Warnings year after year by godly evangelists and preachers went unheeded. So why were we surprised when finally the hand of judgment fell?" he wrote. "Sadly, innocents suffered along with the guilty. Sin always brings suffering to good people as well as the bad."

Whether you are liberal or conservative, religious or not, I don't understand why we put up with a senator saying this garbage. That was a truely evil thing to say. How can some Christians believe stuff like this? In my opinion this guy is one step away from flying a plane into a building.

Cutting across party lines, British MPs have urged the government to take up the plight of Hindus in Malaysia with the Malaysian government and prevail upon Kuala Lumpur not to demolish temples. In an Early Day Motion moved by Stephen Pound, Chairman of the Labour Friends of India and supported by 19 other MPs, including NRI Labour party leader Keith Vaz, they urged the British government to take up the matter with the Malaysian government in the strongest possible manner. "This house notes with grave concern the stated intention of the government of Malaysia to demolish 79 Hindu temples," the one-paragraph Motion said. The MPs called upon the government to make the "strongest possible representations to the Malaysian Government both to cease the program of demolition and to allow the legitimate voice of protest to be heard without physical interference.

Morticians Strip for Calendar

Barton, 22, is "Mr. March" in the 2008 Men of Mortuaries calendar. The calendar's catch phrase: "These are just a few of the things that we do with our suits off."

"I'm kind of shy about it," said Barton, who is pictured in cowboy hat and jeans, but no shirt, standing next to a horse. "But my family all think it's great."

A student at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service, Barton was at school one day when a secretary got a brochure seeking applicants for the calendar. She told him he was entering. He was surprised when he made the first cut for 25 semifinalists. Then the applicants' real work began: dieting, exercising and tanning, so they didn't look like corpses. The calendar hopefuls were up against some stiff competition for the final 14 spots.

*** yeah I'll bet the competition was stiff...hehhehee****

Which is true..
1. US govt. makes policy first, and ask these agencies to prepare a report to justify the execuation of policy.
2. These agencies realistically prepare a report based on facts and US govt. make a policy and execute it to prevent the threads posed in the report.

Why won't government fund stem cell research? Stem cell research is legal but it's privately funded for its research. I heard that the government won't fund it because they believe that it's immoral as well. Do they believe that because they also view it as murder or are there different reasons why they see it as immoral? Also, anything about President Bush and his veto last year would also be great (what was it, why he did it).

Any site sources at all would be greatly appreciated!!! I need a site that talks about why won't government fund stem cell research. Does it have to do with separation of church and state? Thank you so much1

In my view, in the near future, in addition to the imminent and visible threat of Islamic terrorism, the international community also faces the not-so-visible threat of Chinese domination, particularly in the Asian region .China is a rogue nation, and it has shamelessly helped rogue states like Pakistan and North Korea, in their nuclear proliferation efforts while professing to be a "peace loving" country. Time has now come for the entire world community to rise up and disqualify this rogue state from its permanent membership of the U.N.S.C. My request in particular, is to the nations of the E.U. Gentlemen ! China is the very antithesis of whatever the EU has achieved over the centuries and proudly symbolises today. Please confront this menace and nip it in the bud. deny it access to up-to-date technology if the world is to be saved from its evil clutches.
