When and please God IF the Madeline McCann disappearance is solved does anyone else agree with me that Robert Murat should be compensated IF, and note I say IF he is innocent. WHOEVER is responsible MUST be punished But do other members here not feel that he suffered a bit of a trial by media?
Like I said IF he did something let him face the consequences But IF he didnt, what about his name being dragged through the mud.
Seems that his living as an ex-pat and with his elderly mother portrays him in a more sinister light.Thats not fair either.
What do others think of this?

Here's a spoiled rotten brat girl, from a wealthy white family, (I'm white so chill out), who's been treated like an MTV sweet 16 brat all her life; starts stripping and doing exotic dancing, robs a bank, while laughing at the tellers. Now she's playing tennis with her daddy; HOW IS SHE OUT!

She's now crying in court wanting probation and no jail time. For ROBBING A BANK! A felony! Her Daddy now says, we have our girl back and now she's good again! News flash, she was NEVER good; just spoiled by another self indulgent wealthy parent. She's supposed to do 3 years in prison!

We pay millions in taxes for this kind of crap? And girls, dont' think that the women you see on tv are ultra pretty. Lindsay Lohan and this girl showed what they look like without tons of makeup; Yikes!

It reminds me of the female Teacher that slept with the Jr. High kid and then got off because, "She was too pretty to go to prison". I'm sure a man would have got the same. Is anyone else sick of this!

sorry, i am just going to come out and say what i think may have happened and it's a bit harsh so please dont read if you dont want to :-)

so after all these reports on "accidentally killed in her appartment" "sniffer dogs find scent of corpse in appartment" "gerry and kate accused of druging the children" i have come to my conclusing....

I think the children were drugged, i thought this right from the beginning and was quite suprised when i saw it in the news and thought to myself "i knew it!!" my friends are nurses and they gave their daughter these sedetives when they went to mexico last year to help her sleep, i also think they drugged them because i thought it was strange the twins slept through the abduction (in fact, not just the abduction, they slept through kate finding maddie missing - surely she was screaming, everyone looking in the apartment AND still didnt wake up when the police arrived and carried them out!)

i'm going to add to this so please dont reply yet....

It has just occurred to me that perhaps the perpetraitor in the Madeleine case is on Yahoo Answers. It seems very strange that all these rumours come out on here. It's as if it is a smoke screen, a distraction from the truth.

Its people like R.L. White that give black folks and NAACP a bad name. Lets understand Michael Vick surrounded by millions of dollars, surrounded by agents, presidents, family is supposed to now have a opportunity to come back and entertain us. I was thinking maybe it would be a good idea for there to be a number to text in emergencies where the caller isn't able to dial 999, obviously the main point would be for use in cases such as burglary (say you hear your being broken into and you have a phone - calling 999 is not an option as they'd hear you, obviously dangerous considering most are armed, or another instance may be in kidknapp cases, etc, even child abuse and domestic violence etc.. Basically all cases where you can do it descretely.)

if you found yourself in the insidious position the McCann's find themselves in or would you just give up and not raise awareness about your missing child?

There are many people complaining that the McCanns have had the intelligence to create a website dedicated to finding their little girl, and have received very generous donations from the public and celebrities in order to aid their search. I do not watch the news and just read about the big fire in Santa Barbara County. My family lives on the mesa in Santa barbara but we have no way to talk. Is it heavy smoke or how close is the fire to downtown SB ? I understand it is up in the mountains, but I can't figure out how close it is and all, anyone know ?
