It has just occurred to me that perhaps the perpetraitor in the Madeleine case is on Yahoo Answers. It seems very strange that all these rumours come out on here. It's as if it is a smoke screen, a distraction from the truth.

Faith sweetie. Its a spelling mistake! You wasted so much typing on that and didn't address the issue.
Yes I agree , that maybe they might be too busy to use Yahoo, but HOW DO YOU KNOW FOR SURE.
Anyway, I have already contacted my local police station & they have invited me in at 5pm to show them the web pages. They seemed quite interested.

I've heard it all now.A green frog called sparklyahrse alerting the cops about a possible child abductor.I'm trying to imagine the phone call "and your name on the forum is what,Sir?........ok yeah,we'll get back to you".

To Forum members- I don't think we'll be hearing from Sparklyahrse for a while ,just seen on the news they've detained a large green frog at Finsbury Park police station and he's being held overnight for psychiatric reports.

There have been many other internet forums that have started and fuelled speculation, this is not the only one and although some hateful things have been said by people, they are rumours. Its what can be expected from such a high profile case, I very much doubt the person responsible for Maddys disappearance thought they would have the time to sit at a computer trying to throw people off course. I think you have looked a little to much into this, but if the police 'sounded interested' and you have a 'meeting planned' I suppose you will be the one that has cracked this baby. Let us know what the police propose to do and which avatars they will be investigating and bringing in for questioning.

I very much doubt it ..... re the smoke screen and distraction from the truth .. try looking in Portugal as certain people are doing all they can to provide distractions from the truth .. for example implicating Robert Murat...
The police already mointer this site ....
I feel you are wasting your time and accusing people of involvement when all we want is justice for Maddie ..
People are desperate for the truth to come out and many myself including have after looking at the information available come up with theories as to what happened
we all want Maddie to be safe but realistically that is not going to happen..
Whist you are at the police station maybe you could ask why so many police officers have their own suspicions and ask how they come to that conclusion

they can read mine if they like and they can knock on my door Ive nothing to hide from the police but the anger i feel towards the parents that neglected a young child if it had been a single parent and they had done what they have done and went and left young baby's alone what do you think the social would have done to that single parent do you think she would still have the other 2 children no of course not they would of been put into care and the mother would of been classed as an unfit mother and as for the police i would think that they have got better things to do that listen to a plonker like you and if anything they will be watching the football so try not to disturb them that's if you can find them the police are never about when you need them

My feeling is that the anti McCann haters have an unhealthy interest in what may have happened to the little girl.They pretend concern but continue to post 1000s of meaningless questions and 10s of 1000s of equally meaningless answers, all very suspicious

This is the most ridiculous question I have read on this case. (and believe me I have read a lot of ridiculous questions). Anybody could be the culprit, anybody, anywhere in the world and although someone on YA may just know something, what makes you think it is an "anti" McCann. It could just as easily be a "pro" McCann. I hope your visit the police station is eventful, I hope something comes out of it, I truly do, but for your sake as much as for Madeleines sake. I hope you dont get into trouble for wasting police time! My fella is a police officer and he just laughed when I told him what you were intending to do. Just because people have opinions or sometimes quite laughable "theories" it does not mean they are an abductor, murderer or anything, possibly just someone with a wild imagination!
