How would you define a troll on YA?

Properly, to call someone a troll is to say that any dispute over a post is not valid not because the issues raised are not valid, but to claim the intent of the poster invalidates the post. As a speech act the term troll is sometimes used as an ad hominem argument, attacking the poster rather than the content or issues of the post.

in accordance to the Urb.Dict. this could be a troll, one which posts a intentionally provocative message to a newsgroup or message board with the purpose of inflicting maximum disruption and argument. i'm uncertain it incredibly is the comparable as a YA troll in spite of the undeniable fact that, who's finally in hassle-free terms a tragic little stalker in my opinion. A Troll strategies on the different hand is something completely diverse...lmao.

A troll on Y?A or any other online community is a person who's sole intention is to cause controversy and bait us into confrontation...they use multiple screen names and often reply to their own questions to cause confusion and gain credibility...

There are also 'Flamers' here.. flaming is the hostile and insulting interaction between Internet users...but a flamer can also be a troll if he/she is constantly provoking confrontation by flaming

There was a girl in my house at school whom we named 'little troll' mainly because she was not blessed with looks, was very rude, smelly and extremely irritating. A bit harsh, but that is the definition of a troll...

i think it's someone who lurks and looks for opportunities to spew hate and ignorance for the purpose of making others feel bad about who they are. i feel that in their everyday lives you'd probably never ever think they would have the feelings they express here.

Someone with nothing better to do than cause arguements and create rifts between people that would otherwise have adult conversations and debates. Someone that feels gratified by annoying and irritating others.

a jerk who has a very weak imagionation and poor writing skills. at least they should be entertaining. then it may not be so annoying. next category are troll who do not know they are trolls. they are the very worst. the offer up inane questions that make you wonder how they learned to turn on the computer and type. that is the very worst forme. "my leg hurts what should i do?" that sort of thing.
