There is another player that currently plays in the NFL that killed a person while under the influence. That same player got another DUI after that time.

People may value human life more than dog life and it is not clear whether or not he killed the dogs from the grand jury report that I read. The other thinking behind this could be that people's lives are seen as more valuable than a dogs. Our laws reflect that and policy in the NFL may reflect that as well.

It does not seem like it is going to be an issue for a number of years anyways.

He has money and people want to help him get off. If he had no money we would have never heard about it. I think it is about time that someone 'famous' got caught in such a terrible thing. I am not a fan of pit bulls, but to make them live there life like that then some needs to pay. I do hope he spends some time in jail no matter how many games he'll miss.

just a general lack of decency in this entire case... it disgusts me.

I know, i don't get it.
Some people aren't compassionate toward animals though unfortunatly.
They were questioning some Dallas Cowboys yesterday and they felt sorry for him.
I'm like WTF he beat dogs, made them fight and forced females to be raped.
But some people just don't get that animals have feelings too.
