Seriously, people, is it that hard to write complete sentences using correct grammar and punctuation? Is it that great a challenge to communicate without ridiculous abbreviations? Is it such a Herculean task to check your spelling, perhaps by using dictionary extensions for Firefox?
To be fair, non-native speakers are more than excused. But to see so many Americans and Britons, to name but two groups that speak the language, unable to use a semicolon is sad, sometimes even scary.
And yes, this is the second time I post this question, I'd like to get some new answers. And, since I do believe this is a current-events kind of thing (after all, tomorrow's thinkers are writing here and way too many answers are unreadable or, due to the poor language, poor in thought), I've decided to post this question on this section of Y!A.
