But you have no problem with us dragging in fish every day just for us to eat it?
Peace!

I don't know, I think it was disgusting what they did! OK, if it was in shallow waters, then help it back to deeper waters, instead of taking it to a marine centre, for people to gawp at; it may have died anyway, and I'll be the first to admit that I don't know anything about shark veterinary skills, but surely it would have been better to try and help it where it was, only for it to die of natural causes, then to drag it miles away, where it died presumably as a result of human involvement.

From reading it I agree with Draco. Its a deep sea shark in shallow warm water. Which would suggest illness ... so natural causes rather than human intervention...

At such a shallow depth it would have died anyway. It's usually 600 feet down. Not clear though why it was in such shallow waters though. Although, they say it died when trying to take it to a marine life centre to save it.
Bet it'll be in a sushi bar by tomorrow......

I saw that wonderful creature. I know it was an accident, but still very sad. How about the guy who swam with it and touched it? Awesome!

That shark lives in deep water. They only come up to the surface when they're sick or dying. People didn't kill it, it died on its own.

read the report/watch the footage properly you fool... they took the shark to a marine park to try and save it as it was way out of it's natural habitat. it died, but it would have died anyway if they had just left it.
