Yes, but the principles of those champions of liberty have been forgotten and Americans have been buried under the ash-dump of political correctness and "the law." Whose law? Not "the People's" but rather those made by the "cunning, ambitious and unprincipled men" that President Washington warned US against.

How many Americans EVEN know what the Declaration of Independence was all about? A microscopic percentage--that's how many!

In having the right to life, you can achieve anything. To also be given the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness is such a gift. He was very articulate to say these things represent the United States of America.
