Extreme Cold Weather is not a Natural Disaster No You don't have to deal with Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, or Tsunamis, but be careful on what you wish for, when the Next Ice Age Comes.

C'mon Bill. Ice storm in Quebec and Ontario a couple years ago, the floods near Winnipeg. Sure we may not get them to the degree of some other places in the world but if you live in tornado alley or along the Gulf coast where hurricanes are a seasonal event, what do you expect? Hurricane Juan in Nova Scotia, election of Klein in Alberta(okay , the last one was man made)lol, Geographically we are not as susceptible as some areas of the world but lucky???

We are on some major fault lines but have escaped unscathed. We are very susceptible to tsunami's on the east and west coasts. Tho our biggest threat may be one of the future as the polar ice caps melt. We so far have just been very lucky.
