There was an article I read in our paper that a school is banning the game of tag along with tag football. Afraid of kids getting hurt.
At our recess, we had races, played tag and if we fell, skinned our knee, it actually healed and no one had broken bones from physical activity. We were active, even with 3 or 4 teachers on the playground.
You wonder why we have issues with today's youth.
No fun activities. They don't know how to create their own fun.
I feel sorry for them growing up today. Those who don't remember the 60's & 70's missed a lot.
Have a good day. Here, it is raining.........again.

There was an article in our paper that a school (I won't say where) is banning the game of tag and touch football.
You wonder why we have serious children's health issues. No physical activity. No interaction with other children. How do they expect to cope & socialize when they are older.
We used to have races, played tag and guess what, if I fell and skinned my knee, it actually healed. No broken bones. We had fun as kids.
I actually feel sorry for the little ones now.
We made our own fun growing up in the 60's & 70's. Those of you not born then, sure missed a lot.

What are really good party games so everyone can have fun. I already have: pass the parcel and pin the chin on peter griffin (off family guy) I Just need some more to keep by birthday party entertained between food and things. It would be an awesome help. It is a 13 year old bday party and I need things that would be good for around that age.
Thanx soo much.

What in the hell is going on in these schools. I thoughts schools were suppose to be protective a place to not have to worry about all the violence in the world. What do you think should take place in the schools to make it more safe.

The Iraq Genocide is a curse upon us all, a shame for all humanity, a crime of the highest order that should bring those responsible to deserved justice. In a more perfect world, there would be confidence that criminals and murderers and malfeasant authoritarians would be brought to justice. In the real world, however, they are promoted, elected and made much more powerful.

my husband & i were talking tonight about black widow spiders... he said that he recalled something in the news a couple of years ago about a little african-american girl in south louisiana whose mother didn't take care of her and black widows somehow got into her skull and eventually killed her... i remember hearing something about a girl dropping dead and the coroner found roaches, spiders and lots of other things in her hair & her mom went to jail. but i don't recall one just concerning black widow spiders. does anyone know anything about this?
