Commentaries are an individuals opinion or assessment about the news, the news article should be factual without bias or opinions.

Commentaries, are all about the opinions of the writer. You may judge a commentary based upon the political leanings of the writer.

News articles should be based on facts, but they seldom are today. There is a liberal bias to the news that we receive from the Big Three. Why else would Foxnews be kicking everyones butt's?

Fox has news, and they have commentary, they don't mix the two.

commentaries are a person or person's point of view on an action or event ..... whereas news is suppose to just be factual information
