is constantly telling us that they believe Maddy is alive then why did she say the following ?

Back in september 10 , when Kate was preparing to leave portugal one can read in a Telegraph article :

"As Mrs McCann succinctly put it just hours before being named as a suspect: "The police don't want a murder in Portugal and all the publicity about them not having paedophile laws here, so they're blaming us."

Note the word "murder "

I think this administration is running a PR campaign to build support for an attack. If that happens on the basis of what we know now, what will your reaction be?

posting peoples full names, addresses, telephone number, place of work address, place of work telephone number, telephone numbers of relatives, threats to peoples children (I ain't joking) threats to peoples lives, thousands of crank calls when the info gets into the public domain. The bullying on here is one 50th of the bullying on Youtube. So the next time you want to have a moan, think about how much worse it could be on Youtube.

So far in the past three days I have seen posts attacking Barbie, Shambo, Justmebackagain, Freethinker, Grumples etc etc. The list goes on and it is nothing more than playground bullying!

placing a bet of £50 on Alonso winning the title (3-1) would that be crazy or an easy hundred quid?

Ok, imagine that the planes flew into the World Trade Centers and killed a few hundred instead of a few thousand?
Im not saying that would be any better for the relatives of the people that would've still died, but would the whole country freak out as bad as we did and would we still have gone to war?
What happened was awful, but I don't think the terrorists even meant for the towers to fall down. It was kind of a fluke that they did, right?
I asked this question to people in person and they all seem to get offended and say things like "yes, the towers were an american icon, we still would've gone to war"
Im not trying to offend anyone, Im just a naturally curious person (and a Scoiology major) and Stop for a second and really imagine that morning you heard it on the news...for me I was like, whoa scary, they flew an airplane into the towers what bastards, THEN the towers fell and I was so mad and sad and my whole outlook on the thing changed.
Any thoughts?

With the unbelievably rubbish 'their innocent' stories eminating from the McMedia Team, that hardly convince McFanns let alone anyone else of Kate and Gerry's innocence. Do you think Clarence Mitchell should be sacked so he can go back to representing the Governments spin in time for next springs general election ?

Everytime someone posts a question on here asking about why the Mc Canns are or are not doing this that and the other. They are attacked for not having a life, being obsessed, and then the real abuse starts. Do you think certain people on here are asking questions that are too close for comfort for Team Mc Cann?

So many who shout LOUDLY, " I´m innocent", and use those in high official positions to shout for them, and are in reality as guilty as-----! Have noted this in local council corruption cases, Now we have the spectacle of the use of PM Brown, the Pope, Prince Charles, and now the lawyer who got Pinochet off the hook is to try and get this couple off the hook. And could there be a more evil acting person than Pinochet?

A new man is taking overthe Madeleine McCann case. He is apparently one of the finest detectives in Portugal. I find it interesting that the investigation will continue to focus on the theory that Madeleine died in the apartment. Obviously there is evidence to support this theory and the results of further DNA tests are awaited. I think that the "sacking" of the ex chief in charge of the case was a shrewd move by the Portuguese who are confident that they can solve this case and don't want any doubt cast on the integrity of their investigation. What do you all think?

Press and PR chief Justine McGuinness charged Gerry and wife Kate £51,000 for 89 days' work.

Her basic fee was £350 a day, making a total of £31,000.

And the rest was made up in overtime payments and expenses - including bar and restaurant bills.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is shifting away from total reliance on the dollar as an international currency - and adopting the euro as an alternative. This is probably the US government's worst nightmare, economically speaking. Saddam Hussein's biggest crime in the minds of the US is his demand to be paid in euros instead of dollars for the oil that Iraq exports.

In November 2000, Iraq announced that it would cease to accept dollars for its oil, and would accept instead only euros. At the time, financial analysts suggested that Iraq would lose tens of millions of dollars in value because of this currency switch; in fact, over the following two years, Iraq made millions. Other oil-exporting nations, including Iran and Venezuela, have stated that they are contemplating a similar move. If OPEC as a whole were to switch from dollars to euros, the consequences to the US economy would be catastrophic. Investment money would flee and Americans would shortly find themselves living in Third-World conditions.

What powers authorized by a U.S President can be compared to the current U.S. Patriot Act? Some come to mind like FISA but what else? Also, what plots have been foiled after the Patriot Act has gone into effect?

i just saw a suggestion on the forum asking the YA team to fix the error page that many people seem to encounter regularly (you know, the error 999 page, 'the server is busy', 'oops! There's nothing here now, try again later' etc?)

The staff member replied: "We're looking into the error you're experiencing, but please try again later."

I was amused. But that could just be because it is 1am here...

Labour promised Britain a referendum on Europe. Now it looks as though they're reneging. Is this a sign that Gordon Brown is not a man of his word?

Does it make you any less likely to vote for him in the event of a general election?
