well i get your observation, but dont u think being bullied in real life is worse?
i mean cmon
your on the interenet
if someone bullies u, all u have to do is ignore them
and for 1. they dont know who u are
no 2. they dont know where u live
no. 3 who cares what they have to say in the first place?
youtube isnt the only interenet place where people get bullied.
its not reallly bullying
its more like threatining
for isntance: im gonna go to your house and R*** your mom and dad at the same time!
or go suck a D***
u dont really care what they have to say even if its your fault
thats the beauty of the internet
nobody knows who u are
were just all strangers wandering the internet

You ask any Youtube, MSN, Bebo etc. bully to meet you for a fight and 9 times out of 10 they won't. They're p*ssies. They know that no one can physically get to them so they hide behind their computer screens and say what they like. They're the people who don't say boo to a goose in the real world and use the Internet to live a fake life where they pretend to be hard. People shouldn't worry about them and any threats made should be followed with "come on then, do it you c**t". That's when they back down. Also, putting your personal details on the Internet for people to get in the first place is just asking for problems.

You have valid points. But I was trying to figure out the question to answer it. I agree that bullying / trolling does go on in Y! Answers and there is more scope for this sort of thing on Youtube. So yes, I am glad that it ain't that bad here.

Youtube will eventually be forced to either administer their site responsibly, or remove the post comment function altogether. Hopefully, they'll go bankrupt from lawsuits filed by their victims, with youtube as a codefendent, before that happens.

I have grown, here.
Yahoo! has made every effort to make clear rules. They have even given us power to change this site and make it, to some degree, ours.
I have been suspended (my account was reinstated after review).
I am grateful. They do not OWE me an account. I said it before, I say it now that I was suspended. This is a FREE service.
Keep speaking up. That's how we remove such things and get the more satisfying dialog that we have established here (comparatively and getting better).

Cyber bullying gets out of hand because people think they can get away with anything from the privacy of their own home. Youtube has some really nasty stuff but at least it opens your eyes to sh*t that happens.

Another user on here posted what town I lived in and what I did for a job (well she got that one wrong).
It is still nasty to hear things on here about you that you know arent true and just downright nasty. I must be a bit sensitive.
It is also against community guildlines and I'm sure you wouldnt like it if someone posted questions about your job every five minutes
