I hate seeing shooters pleading for saving themselves. & hungry lawyers saying right to their wrong. I preffer they shoot themself back too at the end. At least no money is waisted in keeping them in jail & all other expences.
whould they survive or not give reason for your answer.

1. He set up bombs a week before the attack to measure the response time.

2. He diverted attention today by killing two people at the other side of campus, and while everybody was focused on those two dead people, he prepared his master plan.

3. He obtained keys to the Norris Hall, shut the doors down and proceeded to kill people in the two most isolated and hard to escape rooms: 203 and 205.

All was planned carefully. The shooter remained calm, one shot = one mark. He must have had a very high IQ.

I know there are thousands of people on the campus at it is nearly impossible to tell every student and faculty member at Va. Tech, but why wasn't a warning sent out? Why was the gunman able to travel 1/2 mile and have 2 hrs. of freedom? I believe that the school should have shut all school activity down. The first shooting was at around 7:15, and classes started at 8 AM. The school had more than enough time to cancel classes and keep the students safe.

We love the UK and Ireland and have been only once.
We visited lower Ireland, Scotland, and England. We did the tourist thing and now would like to go where the locals go. So where do you suggest?

There are so many things in this world that we have no control of. No one knows what will happen tomorrow. Life is just too short. We should all cherish what we have now.

I live in NY, ive seen gas prices jump dramatically the last few months.. We are now $3.00 / gallon, which is INSANE! Is there a believable reason why they are going up? The oil executives not making enough?

When will politicians wake up and realise that the amendment to bear arms was to allow a militia to be raised and to defeat the British invader in 1770 something. This no longer applies. How many more innocent lives have to be lost?

Immediately after G. Bush’s statement; I was astonished to here the news reporter say: “but what can he do to have stopped the violence?”
19 places of learning have had shootings in just the past ten years in America and they are still blind to the solution? What a level of IGNORANCE!!!!

When the Nazi's took over Germany, the first thing they did was take everyone's guns away. In Florida and Texas, where it is legal to carry a gun, the crime rate is lower. If a couple of guys in that classroom had guns, there wouldn't have been as many people killed - I doubt someone would even try to do what this lunatic did if he knew there were guns in the classroom that would aim back in the first place.

But that's a hard pill to swallow, ain't it?

Find the cost of Freedom, buried in the ground -
Mother Earth will swallow you, lay your body down.

Yeah, right to buy a frigging AK-47?

"We have to look at what happened here, but it doesn't change my views on the Second Amendment, except to make sure that these kinds of weapons don't fall into the hands of bad people" John McCain.

John, good people go crazy as well. A milk man shot 10 kids not long ago. Postal workers come to work and shoot their co-workers. Law students become serial killers. Are you proposing that we incorporate some kind of psychological profiling? Why don't you and Charleston Heston say that to the faces of the parents of these dead kids.

Nothing will prevent this but a total ban on guns. Even with that, it will take 30 years to filter the gun culture out of US society. McCain is an idiot.

There are zero safety precautions at my college, and I'd assume most colleges. Nothing preventing this from happening.
