I'm assuming today's events at Virginia Tech influenced this question. I must admit I had the same thoughts after listening to the news report on it. The killer shot himself and died. What more could you ask for?
If I had someone that was killed I'd rather know that the killer got what he deserved and I don't ever have to think about him/her again. If he hadn't and I had to live through a trial and seeing him every day....I might want to shoot him myself. It would be so hard on the family and friends to see him alive and well. Then if by chance he wasn't convicted or did not get the sentence that he deserved...I couldn't live with that it would destroy me.
If this happened in a few more instances...it would leave room in the prisons for other felons to get longer and harsher sentences...that they deserve.

whilst devil bought Adam and Eve to sin, he reported some questions: Are Jehovah's approaches surprising? Can a suitable man or woman proceed to be dedicated? would desire to God rule over guy or can he rule himself? those questions are being responded precise now. If Jehovah had in simple terms killed devil it may be like He became into 2nd guessing Himself. despite the fact that all His approaches are ideal. So, whilst God made guy, He did no longer make a mistake. Jesus proved that a spectacular guy or woman can proceed to be truthful. And guy has proved that he can no longer rule himself. For guy has ruled guy to his harm (Ecclesiastes 8:9). verify out Genesis financial ruin 3 and you will see.

I agree. It costs $40k per year to keep a person in prison. Every state legislature struggles with laws to keep murderers, rapists and child molesters in prison. Victims write letter, after letter to the parole board. "Life" in prison is 20 years. At least in Michigan the "truth in sentencing" and "sentencing guidelines" laws were finally passed (at great fiscal cost).
I favor allowing individuals to carry concealed weapons if they have had training and have not had a felony conviction. Most of the people in the self-help group Parents of Murdered Children have strong feelings about this issue as well as Citizens against Homicide. (Members of both national groups have suffered the loss of a loved one to homicide) Compassionate Friends is also a self-help group however it is for parents who have lost a child to any cause homicide, accidental death or disease.

So far 33 have been confirmed dead at the shootings at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University — (located in the western end of the state near the borders of West Virginia and Tennessee). It has been called the worst mass shooting in modern American history. The shootings began in the Ambler Johnston Hall dormitory at 7:15 a.m. Eyewitnesses described the gunman as an Asian male about 6 feet tall. He apparently shot himself in the head after the killings; part of his face was missing when his body was found.

He was said to have quarrelled in a dormitory with his girlfriend, whom he believed had been seeing another man. A student adviser was called to sort out the row. But the killer produced a gun and shot dead both his girlfriend and the adviser.

At the very least he sped up his ultimate judgement by God.
I am glad he shot himself, because if I lost someone important to me I would have killed him myself.

yeah, suicide is the way to go, or suicide by cop. this way the media can spend weeks speculating about motives etc instead of twisting the facts. if i was going to go on a killing spree i wouldnt want to have to face people afterwards.

Instead, the police may shoot them dead and say that he killed himself.
