We love the UK and Ireland and have been only once.
We visited lower Ireland, Scotland, and England. We did the tourist thing and now would like to go where the locals go. So where do you suggest?

North wales is a great place for a holiday and cornwall too especially if you like country side and rural ativities Devon is great aswell and if you go there make sure you have a traditional devon cream tea!! In cornwall the harbour town of Padstow is just lovely!! one summer my husband and packed our tent and camping stuf in the car and just drove around from campsite to campsite we started in Stow on the Wold, then to Henley on Themes, we stayed in a B&B in london and watched a show, then to Brighton, somwhere in Devon and then to Ross on wye in herefordshire! it was wonderfull!
July and august are the hottest but thats also the school holidays so you might get more peace in may/june

Well, I live in America and holiday in my own country, it a beautiful country and I have not seen it all yet. Been from the East Coast to the West Coast. So, I would say, just see all of your country Ireland, Scotland and England first, then try America. I promise you will love America. Everything from Deserts, Mountains, Lakes, Oceans and Caves. And, I just mention a few sites.

Come to Milton Keynes, Its a great place & I live there I am local but I was born & brung up in London which is near.
It is also one of the best places to go in the world.
