What do you think about the 7000 possible Iraqis coming to America?

I personally think it is a great idea because those Iraqis have been helping the americans in Iraq, and some have been messed up pretty bad due to fighting and IED's. Most are interpreters, or Informants, and if they are caught it is certain death. So hey why not they helped us , we can give them a safer life here.

The GOP defenders on this site and elsewhere are in serious denial when they refuse to admit that their president and his family and friends are all chin deep in war profits. This is a conflict of interest at it's worst. Why are you still defending this man?

I was looking at pictures of the Mall shooting in Salt Lake City and all these people have blankets wrapped around them. I was wondering, who brings the blankets to people in disaster? Is there a fire truck full of blankets?

Bush painted an Iranian hand in Iraqi insurgency yesterday. Congress is in no mood for added war expenditures. Pump prices mysteriously went up by 20 cents immediately. Are the oil companies secretly funding the war for payback once Bush leaves office? Possible, in light of the 320 tonnes of 100 dollar bills missing in Iraq revealed by Democrats questioning recently. Not all expenses nor funding are under the purview of the GAO. Ever heard of the Black Budget?

It was in the news today that a local authority have put up road signs in Polish to help Polish migrants.

If they are coming to live in this country why can't they learn English? Is this just another
example of barmy councils bending over backwards for the needs of a few and ignoring the majority?

What do you think about it?

I heard him on Bill O'Reilly (that windbag) last week, and was looking forward to Miller's cutting-edge observations on the so-called controversial comments by Biden and Bush on Obama. Here I'm thinking that Dennis Miller is erudite and articulate (no offense intended), but he did nothing more than resort to the old shtick of recycled material we've heard before. He even had the nerve to quote Benjamin Franklin without giving him his props!
