Al gore made his movie "Inconvenient Truth" which shows how bad we are polluting the earth and how global warming is already starting. George Bush on the other hand is not caring about global warming but on war instead.

I KNOW I heard this story on the Today Show about two weeks ago. I was fully awake and drinking coffee. What I'm not sure about is how much. I thought I heard Eight million dollars. Supposedly it was to jumpstart the economy because due to sanctions there wasn't any cash. WHY isn't anyone talking about this on the news or otherwise?

I mean, the Holloways are from Alabama, and the Kalpoe brothers don't even live in the US.

I know that the tactic worked (more or less) in the OJ case, but here, against foreign citizens residing abroad, and for events that happened out of US territory, filing a wrongful death civil suit looks like an exercise in futility... and then she filed in California. Why on earth would she do that? I'm surprised the case was not thrown out right away due to the court having no competence regarding plaintiff, defendant, or events concerned.

Can somebody explain me the rationale behind this move?

Well it was recently brought out in the open that Environmentalist Al Gores electric bill on just one of his houses averages 1349.00 a month let alone the millions he spends on his private jets to blow carbon all over the planet. WHY DON'T YOU PEOPLE GET IT??? The only reason that we didn't fing WMDs in Iraq is beause we had to go through the damn U.N. which gave Iraq enogh of a chance to get the things out of their country anyway. There are WMDs they just snuck them out before we could get to Iraq. It'sthe damn U.N.'s fault that we didn't find any!!! But we should have gone to war with Iran as apposed to Iraq altogether. i am talking about the worlds most firece cousins i.e. india and pakistan....
well it is a never ending debate till the politicians on both side put there heads down to their motto of playing with sentiments of people on both the sides in the name of the dirty politics..

but some where deep down we r responssible for it.. coz they r choosen by us (in case of india) and they r supported by us(in case of pakistan)....

so wat is next big thing for the two sides which r rivals from more then 6 decades..........

Soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center’s Medical Hold Unit say they have been told they will wake up at 6 a.m. every morning and have their rooms ready for inspection at 7 a.m., and that they must not speak to the media.

“Some soldiers believe this is a form of punishment for the trouble soldiers caused by talking to the media,” one Medical Hold Unit soldier said, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

It is unusual for soldiers to have daily inspections after Basic Training.

Soldiers say their sergeant major gathered troops at 6 p.m. Monday to tell them they must follow their chain of command when asking for help with their medical evaluation paperwork, or when they spot mold, mice or other problems in their quarters.

Did you hear about the darling that tagged a tour bus with the Mayor and a bunch of dignitaries? His photo ws taken and everything by an onboard reporter.

His friends defended him saying that he was not malicious or violent , but for it was for "fun".

He will probably face a misdemenour charge for vandlaism. Enough?

the way they do not oppose, and rather mostly support, their country's illegal, inhuman, unauthorised, self-imposed and selfish war in afghanistan and iraq, and now possibly with iran too, killing hundreds of thousands of innocent public, bombing them with missiles, turning them handicap, burning them, and then shamelessly continuing to claim of dream to give democracy to others, is this justified? they are killing afghans since 2001, its 6 years now, and in iraq since 2003, its 4 years now, and hundreds of thousands of women and children have been charred, the countries have been devastated by continuous bombing. what is the use of such a democracy which results in a crippled and puppet government, and a nation, and which is forcefully established with the blood of over 700,000 humans. while the children of US play with drugs, guns and liquor in their country's corrupt culture, the innocent children of iraq & afghanistan have become orphans. what punishment will god give to americans?
