At this time "NO". Why? Because it would have to pass through Congress first. Not only for that reason but the only way I see the United States going back to the draft is if we went to war with Iran. And I don't see this happening either. Why? because to many military generals have already stated that if President Bush calls for War on Iran then they will Quit. yes we have our Armed Forces spread pretty thin around the globe but that it why we have other countries assisting also. But unless Bush calls out for War with Iran then I don't foresee a draft anytime soon.
