There aren't any really "shocking" facts about it. The sun is heating the earth in a more or less predictable cycle and this part of the cycle is "warming" the globe. The next part of the cycle will cool it. The same people who are running around crying "The sky is falling" about Global Warming, were running around crying the same thing about New York being destroyed by the coming Ice Age just 20 years ago. It is a natural cycle and humans have almost no involvement in it.

Therefore, the temperatures are steadily rising which results in the melting of the polar ice caps. This means that eventually we will lose shore line because we have more water. That is it put as simply as I know how to put it.

Al Gore has gained 50 pounds since he claimed Global Warming, that's pretty shocking!

I should add that 'actual' scientists say there is no proof of Global Warming and are condemned for saying so. Why is that you might ask? The answer is because the 'believers' are politicians, not scientists.
