I was looking at pictures of the Mall shooting in Salt Lake City and all these people have blankets wrapped around them. I was wondering, who brings the blankets to people in disaster? Is there a fire truck full of blankets?

Good Question, I think the rescue squad provide blankets because people go through shock. I know it is weird right? I always wondered why people have to cover up in blankets as well. Like you said who brings them, The person who said the red cross makes sense.

Probably first responders... EMT workers and such. Look at video of many disasters... big and small... and you'll always see survivors wrapped in blankets.
