Its about handling a country not abt acting as a president in a Film?Compared to current President where does Big-B of Film industry stands.Just by being generous and showing hospitality to people of india should we give him such a position.?

No way! The guy is always in news for tax evasion and other means of being on wrong side of the law. The president should be an Indian with exemplary character.

We agree that Amitabh is a good actor.
But, we cannot place him in the place of Abdul Kalam.
President post must go to someone who has done something to the nation or its people.
In fact, I came to know that Amitabh is not interested in contesting for the post of president.
Only AMAR SINGH and Samajwadi Party are trying to do this.
I don't know what all these stupid politicians are up to. Mr. Amar Singh did not have time to visit the parents of kids who were killed in Nithari village, Noida. But, went to Ash - Abhisek ceremony.

It is the political party that wins real majority to form the Govt. that decides who should be the President of the country. Any one who has the real concern for the country ... its problems and has the clear solutions for the problem and plans for the prosperity in all fields with good head and heart is to be selected as the presidential candidate. As far as fairness is concerned I feel the President of the country must be out of Fair Sex.

he would make a bad president. integrity loyalty knowledge of the law the guts to stand upto the govt as abdul kalam is doing within the ambit of the constiution of course is required. its not filmfare awrds we are talking about its the supreme commander of the armed forces we r talking about the constitutional head of the country. Chairperson of censor board would be a better choice.

mr.bachchan is very very good actor and a very good human being but a very bad politician so the president post is not for him and as amitabh will not be able to handle indias politics so its better he continuues with his excellent acting perfomance.

Amitabh's brief stint in politics has hopefully convinced him to remain a reel hero where he is OK, and not try to be a real hero, where unlike Kalam Sa'ab, he will definitely fail.

it would be meaningful to nominate some one like a scientist or an army general.........

My feeling about this issue, we shouldn't give that position to big B. he is a great actor and his image will be trimmed of if he gets into politics. and also celebrities are meant to entertain and mold the lives but not to rule people.

Bachhan is a big joke. All the ads they come, then on top, his son now acts (God, I hate him so much) and as if this wasn't enough, Aishwarya is fooling enough to fall for this guy. Now for Prez huh. Some guys are just born lucky.
