Some people really need to read up on history. The land occupied by israel was home to the israelites long before palestin ever existed. The land awarded to the israelis by the british was wasteland that the backward palestinians werent interested in.Yet now they pretend its a geopolitical issue when really we all know its racial.Palestine is sponsored by iran and syria to be a thorn in the side of their enemy.Israel built up a strong , democratic ,civilised country from the ashes while the rest of the jealous middle east still wipes their arses with sand. The democracy is surrounded by crazed dictatorship terrorist state enemies, that it has managed to fend off since its first existance.
Recentlly as a peaceful gesture israel handed back the gaza strip after disgorging its own people as a noble gesture of peace. The palestinians respond with rocket and terror attacks! And when israel responds with the right to defend herself , the bbc shows fake doctors carry children covered with ketchup

On the news last week, I saw one cop punching the -excuse my language- crap out of that Mexican's face. The cops shouldn't do that even if the guy resists arrest. Using force should only be used as a last resort in a serious situation.

Pres. Bush now has the opportunity to draw up his quick exit timetable from Iraq. Why oh why is his junior partner Prime Minister Blair complicating things by insisting that Israel and Palestine must be resolved at the same time?

I just saw an opinion poll on CNN.com and 56% of the people who voted said they wouldn't go to the memorial. Why?

The quick movement to get out of Iraq at any cost seems to demonstrate a willingness of democrats to stomp on the honor of this country and all those defenders of freedom that have given their lives for us. Instead of holding tough with Iran and Syria and the terrorist they are showing weakness. America needs to speak out and let them know this is a proud country and will not permit sacrifices made to be ignored.

I just heard a very reasoned democrate explain why the Iraqies do not defend them self. He mentioned that just over the weekend they found 50 men handcuffed & shoot in the head. Would you step up & go out looking for these people.?what more can we do in Iraq?I mean seriously , how can we help these people live a normal life with out fear of death.

I am on the list yet this past election I must have received 30 or more calls from each of the parties asking for my support.

Are you on the list? Did you receive similiar calls this past election? Is'nt it annoying?

For those in the UK, did anyone else see this story about these prisoners who are going to sue because when they were sent to prison they were made to go 'cold-turkey' (i.e. not allowed to take drugs) and therefore it is a breach of their human rights?

Can somebody please reassure me that this is some sort of wind-up or at least an error by the media?

Really it s funny to see this " Americans are fighting for others freedom like Iraq.Is it true? Main objective is Business - oil business, nothing else." that s only the reason, present US administration not ready to consider the killings of 3100 soldiers since iraq invade.
if u think Americans are fighting for worlds freedom ,then y they are not intereted to do fighting for small country like Srilanka where clashes between its government and LTTE,oraganisation fighting for certain group of ppl for somany somany years.
Only reason is,if american fights there they wont get anything unlike in Iraq (getting oil wealth)

I think it is just plain silly that the news glorifys this man to such a higher extent than any other soldier who has been killed. Dont get me wrong i still consider it a terrible loss, but there are thousands of other soldiers that have died that people barley even acknowledge. How is this in anyway fair to the men and women we have lost?
