Hello, west_9bois.
I'm a 17 year old, born and bred in Israel. I'm a German Jew- Russian Jew/ Moroccan Jew by origin and lived nowhere else but Israel.
In a year, when I'll finish my studies, I will join the Israeli army for three long years. Know what? I'll do it with a great will.
Because I live under a constant terror and fear. It is not a fair enemy that we're facing; this enemy bombs himself in public buses, coffee shops, malls and discos, kills innocent people, teenagers and babies. This enemy kidnapped three soldiers in Israel's legitimate territories, and has shot dozens of missiles over my house.
Somehow it seems that we are the bad guys who enjoy killing innocent people. Does it even matter that last year we evacuated our settlements in Gaze and Shomron, asking for nothing in return? What was this war good for? What else do they want? But no, we are the terrorists. It is we who kill civilians and hide inside schools and hospitals.
I am not naïve. I know just fine that some of our actions are more than unjustified, and unnecessary. But you must know that every coin has two sides, and I believe that we have done almost everything for peace, a thing that one cannot say about the Palestinians.
As for the rampages, I believe that nothing justifies that. It is definitely not Israel's fault.
Oh, btw- I'm Jewish.

i'm a Jew residing in Israel and that i will help you comprehend there is not safer place for Jews than in Israel. Israel has good family members with Egypt and Jordan. Syria and Lebanon are complicated, yet decrease than administration. existence in Israel is surprising - proper united states of america, astounding place to stay. we don't have extreme costs of crime as in many different places; we've a astounding climate and authentic freedom of religion. As for the attack on Gaza - it grew to become into completely justified by ability of the ten,000 rockets fired at us from Gaza. as a results of the conflict, this rocket fire has come on the edge of being eradicated. by ability of assessment - Jews are being attacked in France, Germany, England, and so on.

I think you need to go to school to learn some history. The jews were nearly exterminated in WWII by the Germans. As a sop to the jews, the imperial powers and the UN gave them the holy land. I agree this was not fair to the Palestinians, but then the other middle eastern countries should have obeyed the UN and not attacked Israel. All the problems come from that one time in history.

It is wrong, and they should not do that, but Jewish and Muslim are very similar religion. If you ever heard of an eye for an eye, both religions adopt the same value. So can you see the end of it ? I don't. If every muslim and every jewish want to take the law in their own hand - nothing can solve the problem, it just getting bigger and bigger issue. I come across religionofpeace website- you may want to have a look, and you can judge yourselves. It is not only Muslim bashing Jewish but Muslim bashing none muslim or even other muslim. If your God can forgive..you- in ramadhan, why can't you muslim forgive others? and leave the judgement to God.

My question is how long are the biased left going to continue distorting the truth about Israel?. Israel are defending themselves against continuing attack from Terrorists like the rocket attacks from Hezbollah . Israel is a democratic nation surrounded by hate filled neighbours who want to wipe it of the map. Palestine could of had a state if it agreed to the Oslo accords but the movement is fuelled with one aim the complete destruction of Israel.

It takes two to tango and in my view each party is equally to blame e.g. for every muder committed by Israel in Palestine, there is another suicide bomber taking lives in Israel.
Until someone shows some real courage in taking the initative and negotiations commence for peace then more innocent lives will be lost.
Obviously the people who decide to go on the 'rampage' and blame every jewish person for the situation are simply narrow-minded and weak idiots.

It does seem unfair doesn't it. And I would certainly not want any killing in the future.
But human nature is that humans fight and kill each other. Its not nice. At the moment the Isralies with the Americans are stronger than the palestinians and are able to kill them. But it wasn't always that way: In the second world war the Germans were stronger and killed many Jews.
My advice to you is to get an education, and make yourself strong.
