I just heard a very reasoned democrate explain why the Iraqies do not defend them self. He mentioned that just over the weekend they found 50 men handcuffed & shoot in the head. Would you step up & go out looking for these people.?what more can we do in Iraq?I mean seriously , how can we help these people live a normal life with out fear of death.

We can't. If the people of any country go about killing each other, trying to get their leader into the dictators seat, no one can stop them.
Here in America, as well as all other civilized nations, criminals are reported to the police even if they are close friends. In Iraq, murderers are protected by their tribe. They're actually heroes.
There can be no real peace in Iraq until each person thinks of himself, and all the others as Iraqis. Not as Shiites, not as Sunnis, not as Kurds, not as members of one of the many tribes, but simply as Iraqis.
Here in America most people don't know or care what church their friends go to They don't know which country their friends grandparents came from. It makes no difference.
There are many ways of dividing people into groups. The Iraqis know them all.
