everyone is concerned about poverty in Africa but i live in Australia and there is a lot of poverty here. Walk through Sydney or Melbourne and there are many people begging. I m not saying that it doesnt happen overseas but i think we should get the countries we live in right before we can fix other countries in Africa or South America. Also why does everyone worrie about the state of Africa (I know its the poorest contenent) but South America is heading the same way. I dont do much for poverty but i dont see the point when Australians at least are being hit with a huge blow because of the price of petroil. and because petrol is expensive then food is expensive and prices of everything have gone way through the roof meaning people dont have money left to bring up families or keep themselves out of debt. Anyway i think that we should concentrate on poverty in our own coutries before we think about helping Afrrica..... Any thoughts please let me know!!!!

is it me or do the people who like Bush go a berserk, like they know they are on a sinking ship and are fighting for their lives, they will over look my point and go right to my spelling and puntuation errors rather than answer my questions.. at least our president can laugh at himself for that i do admire the man he is very humble at times, he knows hes not well spoken and he jokes about the fact that some of the things that come out of his mouth make no sence.. his suporters have no sence of humor at all though lighten up people and dont be so blind.. why do you think his press conferences are all censered he can only read prepared statments what other people write hes not good at anything but softball questions. i love it when one slips by though and he gets all red in the face ..he reminds me of a very old man that has lost touch with reality god forbid he has to answer for actions hes beyond reproch so dont ask him to explan just nod and take everything at face value.leming

Do we instantiate laws that give the governing party difficulty in starting a war, establish a more rigorous process to prove war is necessary, etc? Do we allow the people to vote on the decision of going to war? Do we enforce laws that require the media to show both sides of the argument for starting a war?

While living in mansions, riding limos, buying expensive clothing, jewelry etc., eating caviar, flying private jets. What makes these people suddenly think that they understand what poverty is while making such insane amounts of money and wasting it like they do. Oh and another question... why do they make so much money? for singing?? On the other hand doctors , engineers , teachers etc.. , in other words , people who REALLY help other people dont even make 10% of what these clowns make, why does the world allow this? Oh and one last question... what do you think the popstar that asked "what can be done to end poverty" in yahoo answers smoked before having the guts to do it?

Older kids than me (I'm 13) show racism everyday and they curse so repeatedly that it's a part of their "normal" vocabulary. They have a bad temper and no one stands up to them. And younger kids are badly influenced by them and this event repeats again as a cycle.

42 seconds is a longer amount of time than most people would think, and missiles like this one travel at about 8 kilometers per second (yes, that fast), it sounds to me like the missile probably went quite a long way and the media and government are just playing it down. Does anyone agree?

mainley for violating our civil rights.wire taping ect... and dont tell me he has foiled plots like the one he alegitly foiled today in NYC because what they are slow to report is the crack pots that they catch couldnt plan a suprise party for a 3 yr old, let alot a terror plot so they end up getting released for no hard evidence that they did anything other than think about it...
