Is the idea of "globalization" just a politcally correct term for "MultiNational Corporate Imperialism" ??
Did you ever wonder if this might be part of the casue in the rise of terrorism in the world...is the united states just the tool for conquering the world that these corporations use.

Okay - they seem convinced a US attack is coming they seemed convinced of this long before the US did anything more than send them a post card saying Hi but not the point.
They seem to think that without nukes and missles Bush will topple the government as they did in Iraq. The people seem to like thier leader (how could they say otherwise I know I know) and don't want to see him go. They are and have been isolated for a long time and they are a poor country.....they need to build roads schools and feed themselves and see the US as standing in the way of food trade and security.

In there own warped way the message seems to be "don't starve of out and don't tell us what to do". From this perspective the USA looks like the bad guy to them. Is it possible that all we (the globe)really need to do here is say congradulations on your test better luck next time and oh apples are half price today?.

Below is a copy and paste from a yahoo news link.
It seems that if the UN and USA don't just accept that N Korea is going to have nuclear missles he is ready for a show down. Will Bush back down (again) should he? Are they just trying to feed and protect themselves or is this "the thin of of the wedge the first sip of a bitter cup"?{Sir Winston Churchill}
SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea considers sanctions against it as a declaration of war, its deputy ambassador to the United Nations was quoted as saying by South Korea's Yonhap news agency late on Friday Han Song-ryol's comments repeat Pyongyang's previous position but come as the U.N. Security Council discusses possible sanctions after the North fired seven missiles on Wednesday, including a long-range Taepodong-2, which failed.

I saw a show that indicated that the northern ice cap could be gone by 2050. Polar Bears need the ice in order to hunt and survive. Is there any hope to reverse these changes? I realize that fossil fuel burning cars are going to be around for years. Would it help if our government raised the minimum MPG for new cars? Global warming isn't just about saving the Polar Bear. Reversing the trend could prevent severe storms and flooding of coastal cities around the world and save human lives as well. Perhaps the Polar Bear is an image we can all rally around to not only save them, but to save people too.

The phrase was used on CNN online concerning Mary Winkler's case, and I was curious what the term ment. This is the sentance it was used in:
Authorities say had Mary Winkler deposited $17,500 in checks from unidentified foreign sources in family bank accounts over several months prior to the killing, and a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agent accused her at a bond hearing last week of "check kiting."

I ask because I have a method for stopping further contamination there. It would be reasonably cheap and absolutely effective. No more contamination could escape.

But, I am poor. I was the victim of a crime as a child (I was thrown in a dirt pit by a babysitter who did this to many children for many years, and never got caught. She's dead now). The US Government hates me, because I protest the lack of health care and rehabilitation in the US. They have sworn to harm me any way they can. They have passed laws to take my disability pay from me.

If I talk about my method, the rich will steal it from me and I will still be poor. So I will remain silent. But I want to know if anyone else has the same idea.

Realize that radiation is still getting out of Chernobyl. The concrete they poured over it broke down, and radiation is leaking thru the groung and into the air. Many people have died trying to work, pouring more concrete, and still it continues. What would you do?

As per the news coverage and our current situations with Iraq, we the U.S. have one too many hands on different pie's. In my opinion startling Korea seems to be very bad for the Worlds sake. Detonating a Nuclear weapon is extremely bad on any land, or country; as we have seen with Israel and Iran war can be very unconventional and dirty. Would Korea launch Weapons of Mass Destruction to Japan, or perhaps use that infamous Taepodong 2 to our homeland if we are to provoke Korea to stop its nuclear program or even to stop its missile launching. This may very well begin a new World War, Do we have enough soldiers to even adhere to the situation?
