I am baffled by the ignorance that has come forth off this question. And, like someone did say earlier, "African" does not necessarily mean "black" and vice versa. And, how do you know there are no "African" or "black" communities in Argentina--maybe it's just that they're culture is not so stuck on the element of race and they do not feel the need to differentiate the communities. And by the way, race is only biologically 2% of our makeup.

Africans were not forcibly brought in to work the agricultural areas as was done in the warmer climates of South America.

Perhaps all the black people live in a community with everyone else and don't need to be segregated like in other countries.

in Argentina they don't have indigenous people either it is a European city in South America. I was told by a Brazilian friend that they killed them all. I did not believe it but then I read this below.

Firstly, because black people are not native to that country, and secondly, there is no incentive for them to move from a poverty-ridden third world country that speaks their native language to a poverty-ridden, third world country that does NOT speak their native language! People move to places were there is opportunity to improve their situation!

I don't know but maybe they never had slavery?
Most american countries have blacks because they were originally imported as slaves. That would be my first guess.

There were plenty of Indians to enslave, so they didn't have to inport Africans

its a small country that is latin. there are a few there, but they work for the companies there. its spanish like italy and rome is all italians.

because blacks have asthma naturally and the environment instigates the asthma and most of the time kills them
