Actually there isn't a lot of poverty in the US because of the growing literacy rate and education. Compared to the rest of the world the poverty level is better than Asia but slightly lower than Europe. It also depends on where you live. From where I live, poverty can't be seen. The questions also refer to the developing countries to the developed countries. Poverty isn't a big concern in US. As for illegal immigration, that's another issue.

The rich begets poverty. Weather you're talking USA, Africa, or anywhere, if there is one extreme there is the other. Go to any big city in the US and you'll find people who can't get jobs, don't want jobs, or have no choice but to resort to crime. This country does have institutions in place to offset these things which others don't. But still there are problems that all start with the separation of money. Not liberalism or conservatism, GREEN-ISM, the language of the dollar bill. We live through the dollar. And who ever has the most makes the rules. They can help the fellow man or not.
But as first stated without the rich, there would be no poor, and vice versa...just as good and evil, heaven and hell, etc.

Poverty in America is different than throughout much of the world. That much is true. But sadly, children still go to bed hungry, here. And those hunger pains feel the same in and American child as they do in an African child. And there are children here who never see a doctor or dentist, Who have never slept in a bed or had a new pair of shoes.
Those are the children we walk past everyday and choose to ignore. Some never see the inside of a classroom. Others look forward to the school year because they know they will have food for at least 5 days.
These are the children that live in abusive homes. Homes where the food stamps are traded for drugs. Where they are taught the fine art of prostitution at a very young age in order to bring more money into the home. And we see them and ignore them.
Poverty is alive and well in America. It just wears a different costume.

Why end poverty?
What's wrong with poverty? Why does it need to end? Without poverty would we know what a decent, successful living looks like? I see no moral dilemna here. I love poverty! It's a wonderful frame of reference that helps me to realize what a great situation I really am in.
Giving money means satisfying empty bellies, and when these bellies are full, what's the next thing a human needs? Sex! That's right, sex. And then there's a good chance after that is performed another empty bellied creature is born. Thus, the perpetual cycle never ends as we give more money.
Leave poverty alone! Let it be free! Let it exist! Stop trying to end poverty. It's not a disease. It's the solution

the justifications for poverty everywhere are complicated. In some places, corrupt leaders skim the money off the full for themselves and their cronies. In stepped forward international locations like the united states of a we've problems with a turning out to be hollow between the very prosperous and the adverse. even as many in "poverty" interior the U. S. would seem nicely-adequate compared to different international locations, poverty is likewise about a feeling of not having possibilities in a unmarried's existence. There are recommendations available to superb that and it isn't a decision between authorities seizing aspects of the prosperous--assuming they did not scouse borrow it interior the first position--and letting the prosperous do what they please interior the hopes that the crumbs will fall and earnings something else of society. A healthful answer search for to amplify possession to the conventional individual interior the society, yet which will take some efforts mutually with coming up capital money owed--equivalent to a social protection account--yet which invests in possession in agencies, cooperatives, community funding progression companies, etc. yet to achieve a number of those issues, we would want to re-imagine the idea, now widespread interior the united states of a--my money is my money and something else of the international can bypass to Hades. prosperous or adverse no individual lives in a vacuum.

The average poor person in the USA (below the poverty line) has more living space (in square footage), more cars, appliances, food, and televisions than the average middle class western European person. Here is the first paragraph of the conclusion section...
"Today the typical American, defined as poor by the government, has a refrigerator, a stove, a clothes washer, a car, air conditioning, a VCR, a microwave, a stereo, and a color TV. He is able to obtain medical care and his home is in good repair and is not over-crowded. By his own report, his family is not hungry and in the last year he had sufficient funds to meet his essential needs. While this individual's life is not opulent, it is equally far from the popular images of poverty conveyed by politicians, the press, and activists."

Almost everyone who is below the poverty line in the US, owns their own home. Poverty doesn't mean the same thing here as it does in some place like africa. The poorest people in the US are better off than the richest people in those countries.

Poverty is a relative term. So many Mexicans are trying to get in at the border because poverty in the US is so much richer than poverty in Mexico. The poverty in Africa is in a class of its own. Millions have nothing at all, not even the expectation of their next meal.

This government is all about helping everyone else and when it comes to our own people the government decides that we are not that important. That is a sad thing to say for a country we support day in and out. Since the government is not going to do anything and they want to kiss the world's rear end, we (yes, you, I and others) must take a stand and make our country our number one priority. It is not that we do not care for others - it is that we care for our own first and then everyone else second.
What can we do? Start your own company and hire those who are Americans and want to do work. That is one way. I am thinking about other ways, but start with one way and then head out and make the USA better than it is today.
