It is too late to undo Global Warming. It will bring out results which are called for. This is the Creator's business. It is not our business. Individually all people will be inspired where THEY should go, at the right time. Look into ancient history. Remember reading about the Deluge? Remember the fleet of ships that went to different countries? (Noahs Arc ) What could Noah have done to undo the geographical condition? (nothing; "he" was inspired to build a fleet of ships and these special people were led where they would and did thrive.

Nothing. Global warming is a Myth. The earth is supposed to be warmer. We are just in the tail end of an ice age. People are very self important. We think we can affect the climate of an entire planet when every person on the planet can fit in Rhode Island and have a 2X3 square to stand in.

Well, we can not stop it, but we can slow it down. Everyone on the planet will have to radically change their life-styles, but it can happen.

Global warming is a natually occuring event and can be seen because of the presence of ice ages in the past. However, what is currently occuring is that humans are speeding it up, and making it worse by adding so many un-natural chemicals and other substances to the atmosphere.

The president needs to declare a state of emergency for the country. He should form a commission to address the issue and then they should come up with 3 topics..1) what we as individuals can do...2)what we can do as a country.....) what we can do as part of the globe....things will only happen when the president acknowledges global warming is happening. With the president we have now, that's never gonna happen.

Fly all the hot-air liberal freakazoids starting with Al "I invented global warming" Gore to Mars on an one-way ticket. The earth will go through a cool down period aka...iceage, but it would be the best solution for the survival of mankind. Otherwise you have the mess the liberal control media have created.

Nuke China, but use a cold nuke. Hot nukes tend to add to global warming.

China is becoming industrialized too fast. Cars are becoming rampant there. That country is contributing to most of the global warming.

No offense to any Chinese folks out there. I love the food.

ps daljack,
Stop being a dufus. The US has made many strides to reduce global warming and has done well. The US contributes to it, yes, but it is a small fraction compared to China. See above.

Tell lthe sun to stop getting hotter, and to never get closer.

Before you go any further with your moaning about global warming, tell me what difference it makes if the sun gets 10 miles closer (not caused by man). Will it effect earth? What if the sun somehow got 1 mile closer? Same dramatic effect?

How big is the earth compared to the sun? How close is the earth to the sun? Whats the temp of the sun?

Earth is at the suns mercy........

It's really simple. We can substitute off-peak electric capacity for all gasoline usage; but we just need to replace most, not all, petroleum usage.

Electric cars are so efficient even a small solar system can generate more electric than they consume. An EV goes up to 6 miles per kWh, or about 200 miles on the energy equivalent of a gallon go gasoline. Even more important, the EV does it without oil. The upstream cost of getting gasoline is HUGE, involving foreign aid, foreign policy, oil wars, oil spills, oil transport, oil extraction and refining (it takes 14 kWh to extract and refine 20 gallons of gasoline -- enough to take an EV 80 miles). Not to mention exhaust from refineries, diesels, cars, MTBE, oil droplets on the road, brake linings, ethylene glycose, etc. EVs use regen braking, don't need oil or tuneups, and run clean.

For example, we generated $99 more electric last year than we used to charge up 2 Toyota RAV4-EV, and also got all our domestic electric essentially for free, using our solar rooftop system.

Even if you can't have a rooftop system, as most EV drivers do, you can get a special rate to charge up your car off-peak.

The combined technologies of PV and EV can solve global warming. Wind and solar can generate more than enough electric to run cars, trains and trucks. Bullet trains can replace most planes; once carbon release is under control, the Earth and the Ocean will slowly return to equilibrium, absorbing and working off the huge burning of greenhouse gases.

Without PV-EV, things will just get worse. Hydrogen is no answer; you have to make the hydrogen, and all it does is generate electric (poorly) in place of a battery. But compressed gas did not work with CNG, why would it work with the much more difficult and expensive Hydrogen? Nuclear is no answer, not one more gallon of gas is created by nukes; and the waste is the issue.

Our electric currently comes from coal, natural gas, nuclear, solar, wind, hydro and geo-thermal. While there is no free lunch, in energy, conversion to PV-EV will lower our total energy "bill" by 90%, allowing us to substitute clean energy from solar, wind (and some hydro and geo-thermal) for the dirtier sources.(nuclear and coal).

scientists say that this is a natural cycle of this planet. they have evidence it is a cycle and it happens every one hundred thousand years. it has alot to do with the magnetic poles and the rotation of the planet being eliptical moving into a circurlar orbit. I wouldnt worry about what you cant do anything about. the news protrays it as a big tragedy. the news just wants to sell you something. like weopens of mass destruction and alquada..
