I wrote a few opinionated articles and I'd like to try and get at least one of them published. I'm not considering a career as a writer I just want to give it a shot.
I have them copyrighted and everything but I don't know where to send them. Does anyone know where the names and addresses of some magazines where I can submit my articles? The only ones I can think of are Time and Newsweek and I severely doubt such a large publication is going to take work from an amateur.

It's just so frightening anymore that no one can trust the next person just because they advertise on a job list and for such a wholesome sounding job as a 'nanny' and supposedly by a doting family. As someone else mentioned elsewhere, try to get those types of jobs by word of mouth or perhaps with a nanny agency since going to a person's house can make a person so vulnerable.

over this whole Iran situation, how would it be fought?

it's obvious that it would probably end up with the use of nuclear weapons, but i think that both sides would hold off from that until it was entirely necessary, because they know that it will result in mutually assured destruction.

i'm guessing they would make it a naval war at first, seeing how the invading country has a disadvantage, and neither country would want to take that role.
what do you think?

OK now I want to hear your Opinion of what you think happened on 9-11. i was wondering WTC 1 & 2 Were destroyed bc of the planes hitting them. But what about WTC # 7, there was a fire that lasted for about 3 hours and the govt. says that they building was destroyed bc of it, when there have been fires that for 12 hours and those buildings are still standing. still don't believe me ??? 7 out 19 hijackers who "supposedly" were part in what happened that day are still alive, and they have been working for the FBI.
Ever heard of the "Pancake Theory"??? those building were built to stand those planes hitting them. even if those planes did hit them the titanium bars that held up would still be standing just everything else to the floor. the only way those would have collapsed would have been through demolition, which through several videos you can see Demolition parts planted across the building.

Do you think this was a plan by our Govt or by Osama bin laden?
