Well, the authority which Congress gave initially in Public Law #107-108 in December of 2001 to conduct warrantless electronic surveillance up to 72 hours was merely a re-hash of the authority contained in Executive Order #12949 which was signed by President William Jefferson Clinton on February 9, 1995. Of course, President Bush is not asking for the authority to conduct warrantless physical searches like President Clinton wanted in that Executive Order.
Now, you need to check and see which party those guys in the laundry truck are registered with.

It has to do with democracy, and the fact that democracy is supposed to be upheld, even when it is used against us, but violating FISA is violating that principal.
