I am guessing you are in the USA - a democracy. If so the government would have to be accountable to the taxpayer and doesnt want to be in this area. The government believe that voters are not interested in supporting people through their taxes who for whatever reason may not be able to help themselves e.g. very young, sick, disabled, veterans - both the government and some members of the public believe that access to good health care is not a human right! Social democracies in Europe do believe that access to health care is a human right and therefore those who are less fortunate get help through other peoples taxes....I leave it up to you to judge whether its a human right.....

i will frequently neglect approximately your 2nd paragraph inspite of the reality that i stumble on it thrilling that Democrats declare Bush I and Bush II want a "New international Order" and Republicans declare the comparable ingredient approximately Obama. on your preliminary question, I, for one, do no longer oppose frequently occurring well-being care and that i do no longer have confidence maximum conservatives have any desire to maintain every person from having scientific well-being coverage. the biggest subject I even have is that i do no longer choose the government in touch in my well-being care. If somebody have been offering a well-being care device the place the government subsidizes the rates for persons that could no longer take care of to pay for it, i might help it. If the government has any administration over the well-being care industry, i might oppose it. the effortless reality is that any software the government will become in touch in finally ends up costing extra money with much less service.

Look at Canada and Cuba's health system. Or Europe's. Sure, it's mostly free, but the care isn't anywhere near as quality as it is here.

Cause most politicians are lazy fat hags who can't decide on anything because they're out to suit their own interests. They don't want to spend the money to change it, either, because that would mess with their extravegant pensions.
