Thousands of people called for a swift end to the war in Iraq as they marched through downtown on Saturday, chanting and carrying signs that read: "Wall Street Gets Rich, Iraqis and GIs Die" or "Drop Tuition Not Bombs."

Chris- these protesters are unwashed morons? hahah I dont think so, and an uneducated bigot as you clearely are possibly in the military or the police with a mind set so sad. and Shelly C I must agree with you you are so right - ademocracy respects all views properly expressed (without being called morons by brain donors), and Mad gringo.. how crazy to wish for my death in this way. I support justice for Palestine. Dont you? Dont you support justice for all people regardless of who they are? Whether they are black or yellow or white or brown? Unfortunately you appear to be exactly what is wrong with America today. Any person with any literacy can see that the Palesyinians have their backs against the wall. Shooting them like fish in a barrel is not going to help even Klu Klux Clan lookaliokes as you.

Humanity at its best and strongest is when individuals refuse to be silenced lest they be accused of being traitors or unpatriotic. Anyone possessing the ability to think for themselves and the deep desire for truth can march and protest with a clear conscience because they are the warriors of peace. They really are true patriots.
I hope you don't get hit by a car because we need more good people like you.

No - part of being an American is the right to protest and express our opinions with the fear of persecution or prosecution. I don't agree with the war either, I choose not to protest. One of the best things about being an American is that there are hundreds of ways to be patriotic, not just the government approved way.

No, definitely not.
Being against war doesn't mean that they love their country less...
They just love LIFE more...which is the way it should be.

No...but sympathizers of Palestine are.In fact that is unpatriotic. To support one's avowed enemy is the epitome of treason, and your moniker would suggest that you side with the enemies of America.I hope a drunk driver takes you out this week.
