I hope I wasnt the only one. On 9/11/01 when I was 12 and in 7th grade, my teacher said that planes crashed into the WTC. She then showed us a tv and it showed black smoke comming out of the WTC and I said, "Hey I thought you said the WTC got hit." She then said that the Twin towers were the WTC. I couldn't believe it.

Twin Towers' destruction exhibited all the characteristics of destruction by explosions:
1.
Extremely rapid onset of “collapse”
2.
Sounds of explosions at plane impact zone — a full second prior to collapse (heard by 118 first responders as well as by media reporters)
3.
Observations of flashes (seen by numerous professionals)
4.
Squibs, or “mistimed” explosions, 40 floors below the “collapsing” building seen in all the videos
5.
Mid-air pulverization of all the 90,000 tons of concrete and steel decking, filing cabinets & 1000 people – mostly to dust
6.
Massive volume of expanding pyroclastic dust clouds
7.
Vertical progression of full building perimeter demolition waves
8.
Symmetrical collapse – through the path of greatest resistance – at free-fall speed — the columns gave no resistance
9.
1,400 foot diameter field of equally distributed debris – outside of building footprint
10.
Blast waves blew out windows in buildings 400 feet away

I was going to school like an ordinary day, I was in the Third grade.

Then on the Com-system the principle said to go outside a terrible tragedy has happened.
So we went outside to the court yard where the flag pole was and me being a boyscout, raised the flag and saluted.
Then she told us to go home.
There was alot of chatter at school about what happened before the administration told us.

I remember talking to my cat what else would a nine year old do?
Anyhow, my mother told me not to tell my sister, so I didn't.

I remember sitting on the family couch with my mother and everyone else in the neighbor hood.
There had been a surge the day before 9/11 and we had one of the only working TVs in the area.
Incidentally It was unplugged when the surge happened.

I Remember my mother covered my eyes as someone jumped out the window of one of the towers as we gasped.
We had been in N.Y. the month before that.

The question comes down to now,
Where were YOU! 9/11!

Over 3000 Muslims were hacked and burned, women raped on the street of India by some 50,000. No one is charged for a single crime. Police officers took off their uniforms and took part in the genocide. Killers still roam the street of India victims, no justice for the victims. How come there is no sympathy for the dead? Same type of thing happened to America, but less brutal.

The redeveloping of the site at Ground Zero has started. Piling work has started. In a matter of years, the Freedom Tower will be developed and opened for business.

However, do you honestly think things would be the same as before, after all the terrifying moments that had occurred? Do you think the people will it hard to accept a new beginning? This is especially so if bone fragments are still fond on the site, 6 years after the tragedy.

On 9/11/01, two F-16's took off from the Air National Guard Base at Toledo Express Airport shortly after the first crashes. They returned later that afternoon. Some speculate that 93 was shot down. How tragic would that be that the passengers were wrestling the plane back from the terrorists when the government shot it down? What are your thoughts?
