On 9/11/01, two F-16's took off from the Air National Guard Base at Toledo Express Airport shortly after the first crashes. They returned later that afternoon. Some speculate that 93 was shot down. How tragic would that be that the passengers were wrestling the plane back from the terrorists when the government shot it down? What are your thoughts?

I think you conspiracy "theorists(i.e. guessers)" are pieces of s@#t. I agree with picking up a book.

Although I think it should be everyday, today is the day we HONOR the victims of 9/11. NOT SMEAR THEIR MEMORIES INTO THE GROUND. It really is quite disgusting. Pick another day for your guessing parties.

There was no conspiracy. Conspiracy Theorist (CTs) have more questions than answers to their own theories.

CTs say: The towers were rigged with explosives.

Common sense says: What? Eyewitnesses SEEN with their own eyes, the planes hitting the towers!

CTs say: The cell phone calls made from the planes were fake. There's no reception at that altitude.

Common sense says: They used the phones on the planes. Not only that, what about the loved one who received the calls? Are they in on the conspiracy too? LOL! How lame!

CTs say: 9-11 trade center disaster was caused by the government.

Common sense says: How can all of these gov't agencies be involved? That would take 100's of people for many different places to lie and plan this thing. At least 30% of the people "allegedly" involved would never agree to covering up. It's just not possible.

So the lady that actually watched the plane crash, I guess is yelling, give it rest, these 9-11 Conspiracy theories are getting dumber and dumber, especially when science and the Popular Mechanics articles debunked every theory. 9-11 conspiracy theorists are guys that never made cool friends in school, the outcats, always wanted to be accepted but weren't no they see this as chance to be accepted to they joined and bought into 9-11 conspiracy theories merry band of losers to finally get a few friends, and disrespect the lives lost that day, kinda of pathetic don't you think

No conspiracy about 9 / 11, it's so sad people will not pick up a book and read what happened on this day and the days leading up to it, some just repeat what others say which is not the truth.

I'm sick of these conspiracy theorist twisting 9/11 and other aspects for thier politcal agendas. Flight 93 wasn't shot down I don't care what they say. The audio tapes of flight 93 would prove this.

Do you really think the government would admit to shooting it down? It's much easier to name them all heroes and avoid all the lawsuits and depositions. There was another plane in the air around Shanksville that morning, but whether it shot the plane down or not i'm afraid we will never know.

The calls from Flight 93 were likely faked (there are voice recordings that were played to family members and some are public); they sound stupid (one man repeats "do you believe me mum?" when talking about what was happening) and don't sound like people in danger. More importantly, how did they make mobile calls thousands of feet in the air? Did the government do it? I don't know, but there are definatly unanswered questions which a lot of people (mainly government people) aren't being forthcoming with answers.

The truth is out there.
We have no evidence the governement is involved.
Maybe we'll know the truth in a 100 years from now.

My husband and I were always convinced that we shot that plane down...but then we made heros out of those passengers, to bring some kind of good out of it all. (I think that fight on the plane was pretty much a stalemate)

Of course it was shot down. Any government in its right mind would have done so! That mumbo-jumbo we heard about the passengers saving the day is bullcrap. Don't believe that garbage.
