Did you think that the WTC was the Stock Exchange?

I hope I wasnt the only one. On 9/11/01 when I was 12 and in 7th grade, my teacher said that planes crashed into the WTC. She then showed us a tv and it showed black smoke comming out of the WTC and I said, "Hey I thought you said the WTC got hit." She then said that the Twin towers were the WTC. I couldn't believe it.

The New York Stock Exchange is at Broad and Wall Streets. The World Trade Center was at Church and Vesey Streets. I'm a native New Yorker and, although the World Trade Center was built after I left NYC, I knew the difference.
