Nowadays almost every channel telecasts some kind of program with respect to planetary position etc. ill effects of so and so thing happening. Is it good? At one end they try to show how in rural areas of India people are so superstitious etc and at other end they telecast all these programs about horoscopes etc.

After watching Panorama last night i'm still reeling at seeing the footage of what they call Happy Slapping where they go and start to beat up people and video the fights on their moblies to post on to the Internet, You Tube etc,

My god they love to see people being beat up so severely that blood is spurting out everywhere to the point where the poor person being beat up loses conciousness which can lead to death or very serious injury .

I'm not a particulary religious person but I remember my grand mother telling us when we were young that all of the things that are happening today would come to pass as stated in the book of revelations saying that in the latter days Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom there will be lawlessness people will be lovers of money.

Could the Bible possibly be true???

Bush administrations are in process of selling $20b worth weapons to saudi arabia, and aiding $30+ to isreal, and others...and they SAY it's not an attempt to get back oil (saudi's #1 export). They want to stabilize middle east and the powerful Iran by giving weapons to other countries. In other words, Iran is keeping US from doing what they want in middle east, so US will fund Iran's enemies.
ie: funding of Afghanistan (bin laden) to ward off communist Russia
Is this a bad idea? Is this helping our image? more importantly, can this back fire and set up more wars in middle east?

okay so after school I was walking outside around the park and my classmate was going pass me and we were an inch apart and shes way taller than me so I THINK I accidentaly kissed her boob(s)but im not sure.Theres also been 4 other situations I think that I thought i sexually harassed someone.ive been out of the country for a month i think but nothing happened when i got here,I didnt worry much about this before.It just popped into my head and I started stressing like crazy!Im yelling and my temper is really low.

What does everyone think of the woman in Ocean City who had four dead infants in her house...a placenta, 2 unborn fetuses, and a 26 week old infant. The first three were found in a living room trunk, and the 26 week old in a plastic bag, in a vanity, under her bathroom sink. What do you think...did she do it herself, or do you think someone else is at fault?

I see on the new's that Iraq is doing better, their government is taking a 1 month vacation, their soccer team is in competiton, some of the pictures look like life is pretty good. Why in the Heck is every abled bodied person not fighting for their country, while American soldiers are dying for their freedom.

Just because they are successful with books its all within the
umbrella of fox news. Can a fox news "journalist " find work at a credible news agency upon leaving fox news?
Would they have to relearn ethics...?

Possibly a career with entertainment tonight as they use a lot of the same flashy attention getting graphics of fox and the same type of opinionated "reporting" of events.

Norm sees the Starbucks organization as too involved in the culture wars for his palate, and on the wrong side of his beliefs. "I honestly don't see them coming around to our way of thinking anytime soon. Like Pharoah in the days of Moses I think they will harden their heart and strengthen their argument. But Christians aren't pansies. I believe when they understand the stakes they will participate whole heartedly. As far as I am concerned they have already done enough damage with their anti-Christian positions. I am ready to get my coffee elsewhere.

"The medical evidence did not match up with the, with the scenario as described," a doctor who examined Tillman's body after he was killed on the battlefield in Afghanistan in 2004 told investigators.

The doctors - whose names were blacked out - said that the bullet holes were so close together that it appeared the Army Ranger was cut down by an M-16 fired from a mere 10 yards or so away.
If there is a murder, there must be a weapon, an opportunity and a motive.

The weapon, we know, is an M-16. The opportunity appears to be a sudden case of friendly fire.

But where is the motive? According to the AP, Mary Tillman suspects somebody in Pat's unit might have "fragged" him, that is, shot him on purpose.

Is there any hint to a motive in Pat Tillman's real last words?

It has been widely reported by the AP and others that Spc. Bryan O'Neal, who was at Tillman's side as he was killed, told investigators that Tillman was waving his arms shouting "Cease fire, friendlies, I am Pat (expletive) Tillman, damn it!" again and again.

But the latest documents give a different account from a chaplain who debriefed the entire unit days after Tillman was killed.

The chaplain said that O'Neal told him he was hugging the ground at Tillman's side, "crying out to God, help us. And Tillman says to him, `Would you shut your (expletive) mouth? God's not going to help you; you need to do something for yourself, you sniveling ..."

The Army says that you can trust them now. There was no murder--they have that in their official Army report. Understandably, the family has trust issues with official Army reports.

And so do I.

I read where somebody named Charles Williams fired his gun from the observation deck of the tower at the Universtiy of Texas and, in so doing, killed sixteen people and wounded thirty -- one . This happened in 1965 or 1966 . I couldn't find ANY information on the Internet about this situation . Can anyone pin down the month and day(s) this incident took place, and tell me what year it happened ?

that people have had enough of the McScams?

According to reports in the weeks leading up to the concert

"Organisers are hoping to raise £35,000."

So what was the result?

"More than 80 people paid between £10 and £15"

80 people??? What happened to the 'up to 6,000' people they had predicted?

80 * £15 = £1200. Way way short of the £35,000 they were predicting a few weeks ago.

So we have so many people complaining about the mccanns that a newspaper has to ban comments on it. No-one shows up for a concert held in Madeleines name to raise funds. What does this tell the media in this country?

People are sick of the McCanns, so when are the media in this country going to pull its head out of its proverbial you-know-what and see whats going on around them???

I was at a family party recently when the conversation turned to talking about US currency vs. Canadian and Mexican currency. Then some spoke up that he heard earlier this year that they were talking about creating one form for the entire North American and continent, encompassing the USA, Canada, and Mexico. They also said that this form of currency will take place by 2009. I had not heard this anywhere else and I'm on MSNBC quite a lot. Has anyone else heard this and if so can you provide a link to a news article talking about it?
