The god I believe in, wouldnt only give to Hebrews, after all we were all made by god not only Hebrews.
And actually Muslims are more Christian then Hebrews are. They believe Jesus is their savior and they believe in Allah (who is our god.)
Israel shoot little kids who throw rocks at them, you really think they are poor defenseless people.

What God do you believe in?
And you can't compare Muslims and Christians. Christians have a savior, Muslims don't.
Jesus was a Jew...did you know that?
Without Judaism, there would be no Jesus.
Israel does not shoot little kids. People in the Israeli army may get fed up with the Palestinians after one has blown themselves up in a market in Jerusalem, and that anger gets taken out on a little kid...I am not justifying that killing, but that is the way it is.
And, American troops have probably shot little kids. English troops have probably shot little kids. Are you saying we are evil?
The God I believe in forgives people of their wrongdoings in this life. My God knows people are human and make mistakes. Everyone is a sinner, including you.
Before you point out the plank in someone else's eye, look into your own...because hatred against people like the Israelis is what starts the fighting in the first place.
londonminx: I wish I could give you 1000 thumbs up cause that is a great answer!
Krystal J.: People wouldn't call you ignorant if you wouldn't have drawn your own conclusions before people had a chance to answer your question.
You said, "We dont owe Israel anything." and by saying that, you already showed these people that you are not a big fan of Israel.
And the person that called you ignorant has the best answer on here. She may have been wrong in assuming you are ignorant but the rest of her answer is right on.

in 1850 Jews began immigrating to Palestine. in 1870 communes and compounds sprang up and more and more moved in. Great Britain passed the Palestinian Mandate that forbade Jews from moving into Palestine, but they basicall ignored it. After the extreme persecution of Jews by Nazis, during WWII public outcry overcame the Palestinian Mandate and many nations of the world backed Israel and the Jews continued to move in.
Jews declared the creation of the State of Israel, in accordance with the 1947 UN Partition Plan. Israel, of course was ll for it, but Arabs refused to recognize the State of Israel, and attacked that same day, igniting the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Israel prevailed, and established borders which remained in place until the 1967 Six Day War.
It found its roots in the holocaust.
I am an American Christian, but I see our alliance with Israel as a huge factor in the Fundamentalist Muslim's hatred of the US.
The pity party for the Holocaust needs to be closed and a new chapter opened. Israel is as guilty of terrorism as are the Palestinians. Israel just happens to have the best military technology in the World, so their terrorist attacks are called military strikes. It's time the world reined in the Zionists.

Wow, you've really shown your ignorance with this question!
It's really interesting that although America supports many different countries, it's only ever Israel that people mention on this site. You don't mind the huge amounts of money that go to Germany, I take it? You're also not voicing concern about the big arms deal America is set to do with Saudi Arabia?
Before you post another question, you really should educate yourself about Israel just a bit:
FACT - over 20 per cent of Israel's population are not Jewish. They are Christian, Muslim and various other faiths. And they are all free to worship as they please. Unlike in Arab countries! For instance, Saudi Arabia, where any religious text apart from the Koran is ILLEGAL.
FACT - Israel does not and has never supported terrorism. Israel's army gives warnings when she has to do anything to any area in a neighbouring country to get to terrorists, E.G Lebanon. What did the terrorists in Lebanon do? They gathered as many women and children around them as they could so they could then complain that Israel hurt civilians!
FACT - Arabs living in Israel have MORE rights than in any of the Arab states.
FACT - Israel has done more for the Palestinians than any of the Muslim countries. Israel has built new housing for them, and opened schools, hospitals and universities. She gives them fuel, water and electricity - she even gives them guns so they can defend themselves against the extremists in their midst!
FACT - Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.
FACT - Israel battles the same terrorists that the rest of the free world does. Yes, that's right - the exact same terrorists who put bombs on London trains and buses, and who caused mayhem in New York. Israel gives America valuable intelligence info and is a staunch ally to the USA.

The best way to protect israel from themselves is to terminate all funding for either military or humanitarian aid to israel! As a people they never learned how to be compassionate and humanitarian from the events of WW II! If they did it was how to be more terroristic than anyone else. They are a people that are mentally ill and their constant activities centered around greed and taking from others is constant further proof of this fact! They will never learn how to embrace others, just how to repel them! The israelis continually destabilize the entire middle eastern region!

Because it is in their best interest to do so.
Their is broad domestic pressure to support Israel as well as international and economic advantages as well.
America dose not help Israel out of some altruism, it dose it because it is in America's interest to do so.
If and when that changes so will the policy.

Isreal is God's holy land and city, and we have to take care of that nation and keep it out of the Muslims' hands. They understand the danger and the war over this land in history and the importance of protecting this land for the Jewish people.
I could get really in depth about this, but this is kind of an answer in a nutshell.

Because it's a U.S. military installation. It allows america to undermine other countries in africa and in the middle east in the name of a common interest. If everyone was honest, it would be the 51st star. What do we need from israel--really, it has a handful of people living on parched earth and now we have to send them another 30billion. if that was being sent to africa, it would be about how the money could go to help people here at home but when it's sent to israel, then there are no out of work white people, no hungry americans because israel deserves it more than taxpayers. Israel isn't a terrorist state since we supply them with plenty of money and weapons(why this isn't the cure for all the other nations....) So if palestine received matching funds(directly, not through israel, as now is the case) and weapons then they wouldn't be "terrorist" fighting tanks with rocks.

America is against terrorism and Israel is the only stable democracy in the Middle East who also fights terrorism. Israel is a key stabilizing force in the region which helps support the US.

Are you suggesting Israel is terrorist? Israel is a very vulnerable country, being the only Jewish nation in the region, totally surrounding by anti-semetic Islam-based nations. They need to be protected against these people who want to "wipe them from the earth" becasue they have the right to be there. The only reason Israel is violent is because they have to be, they cant seem weak whe they are surrounded by enemies.

We support Israel because they are a lone democracy in the Middle East. Also because we share religious and cultural ties with them. In the past, we supported them as an ally in the Cold War.
If we truly supported Israel, we'd offer them a space of land in Oregon or Montana to call their home. Because in the next 50 years, one muslim country or another will get nuclear weapons and destroy her.
