If we want to preserve America, shouldn't we give up all things American?

To save this great country, we may need to get rid of it. Don't you agree?

May 3 - The House of Representatives voted on Thursday to extend hate-crime protection to people who are victimized because of their sexuality. But the most immediate effect may be to set up another veto showdown between Democrats and President Bush.

May 3 - President Bush told Congressional leaders Thursday that he would veto any legislation that weakened federal policies or laws on abortion.

May 1 — President Bush vetoed a $124 billion war spending bill on Tuesday, setting up a second round in his long battle with Congressional Democrats who are determined to use the financing measure to force the White House to shift course in Iraq.

Is the "veto button" a large and colorful button that makes fun noises when Pres. Bush pushes it? Does it make confetti & balloons fall from the ceiling of the oval office?

Do you think the boycotting will really help? I see this going around alot & was wondering you oppion on it. Here it is if you haven't seen it:

In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices.
Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007, all myspace members are asked to not go to a gas station in protest of
high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.

There are 73,000,000+ American members currently on the myspace network, and the
average car takes about 20 to 30 dollars to fill up.

If all myspace members did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take
$2,200,000,000.00 (that's BILLION) out of the oil companys pockets for just one day,
so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the
Middle Eastern oil industry for at least one day.If you agree (which I cant see why you wouldnt) repost this bulletin repost it with
'Don't pump gas on May 15th

Why can't that man just read from his cue cards?

Almost every word that he says is a total embarrasment to our country.
They even have sites on the net quoting him saying the most outragious things like:
"Alquida never stops thinkin of ways to harm our country & neither do we"

He lives in hopes that someday man & fish can coexist.

Talk about some crap! Look at the numbers and try to defend the oil companies rising prices again.
Its supply and demand and we should just strike!
