O'Reilly distorts and he lies, and he even admitted to being a liar, smirking, to Jon Stewart.

These are not little while lies of the type "Yes, your new haircut does look good on you," but lies designed to vilify anyone questioning or criticizing the Bush regime (which happens to be a vast majority of Americans) as "far left extremist progressives".... i.e. lies designed to turn a minority of real extremists, the Bushbots, against the American people at large...

As to what his motives are, well who can say what are the motives of a psychopath?

Psycopaths can appear charming to some, as on the surface they appear personable. Ted Bundy, the serial killer, for example, was very charming to the women he killed, before he killed them.

More on the Psychopathic Personality, and the chaos these people have wrought on America and the world (as the key figures in the current Bush administration are also PP's), by the late great American author Kurt Vonnegut, who died recently:

(an excerpt from this recent essay of his):

"...In case you haven't noticed, as the result of a shamelessly rigged election in Florida, in which thousands of African-Americans were arbitrarily disenfranchised, we now present ourselves to the rest of the world as proud, grinning, jut-jawed, pitiless war-lovers with appallingly powerful weaponry - who stand unopposed.

In case you haven't noticed, we are now as feared and hated all over the world as Nazis once were.

And with good reason.

In case you haven't noticed, our unelected leaders have dehumanised millions and millions of human beings simply because of their religion and race. We wound 'em and kill 'em and torture 'em and imprison 'em all we want.

Piece of cake.

In case you haven't noticed, we also dehumanised our own soldiers, not because of their religion or race, but because of their low social class.

Send 'em anywhere. Make 'em do anything.

Piece of cake.

The O'Reilly Factor...."

When I need some comic relief I watch him, he's funny. I also watch Sean Hannity for a double laugh. Believe me I,m not a hater like dave b. suggests. It seems I've heard these bash excuses before. Fox News is just a mouthpiece for the Bush administration, like Tass was for the Soviets.

Aren't we sensitive, Dave. O'Rielly is a liar through and through. It has been documented too many times to list. He is a Bush sycophant and drinks the Kool-aid!
