Prince Harry will be sent to Iraq to perform his duties for his country, but by him going do you think its fair that he also puts his regiment in even more danger by him being a figure head to the the monarchy.

In New York, they have found that the recent trooper was killed by friendly fire, this has happend in New Jersey and I think Pennsylvania as well. Why is it happening, are the police gun happy or just improperly trained?

Today is Tuesday, May 8, 2007 and this Brit question dates from 3 days ago. Here it is:

Do Americans have no manners? None of them are bowing or giving a curtsy to the Queen of England?

I invite Americans to look up this question and enter your comments.

My personal stand is that Americans fought and won two wars (the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812) against the British Empire to prove that we don't have to bow and curtsy to an out-dated royal figure.

these places that are in tornado alley should be built to a higher standard... a start would be to build them of reniforced concrete not wood. 95 percent of the town was leveled because of a f5 twister.. thank god that not many people died but more has to be done ..like shelters for the people.. real shelters made just for that reason. god bless them all.

The US has been at war, hot and cold since 1941. They are now fighting a hidden enemy. Terror. (I dare anyone to point a gun at a concept!) Does the US use constant war to drive its economy? Does anyone have a better answer?

Please don't tell me a global policeman story. It doesn't stand up to scrutiny

This is a question for those who design homes or residential structures too ...... if you are going to rebuild your homes .....

HAVE YOU THOUGHT TO TRY A NEW MILLENNIUM TORNADO-PROOF DESIGN FOR YOUR NEXT HOME?

I'm not an architect or building designer and I don't even live in a tornado zone, but I was wondering ... isn't it possible for victims of the recent, horribly destructive tornados, who want to rebuild and still want to live in their area, to find a more effective, 21st century structure to live in, in "Tornado Alley" and anywhere else tornados appear?

Has anyone thought of building a hurricane-proof home at least partially subterranean, or with a solid basement for their new home or at least a sturdy "Safe Room?" This, I feel would allow people to live where they want but lose less in the next disaster. I just don't think it would be prudent to build a home that will easily be knocked down AGAIN if another tornado comes around.

What will you do?

And you wonder why your paying so much at the pump! We're talking $9.28 Billion in PROFITS, yes, PROFITS. That's after all costs of shipping and whatever are factored in. And this is only in 3 months! They're profiting more than 3 BILLION a month. And you wonder why schools are falling apart, healthcare and social security are non existent, and most of. This is just EXXON too, which is just ~1~ of many Oil Tycoons. And Exxon is still spending money to fix that Valdez disaster, or their profits would be higher. I ask you, since when did hogging up all the money in America, only to claim we can't fund programs for the PEOPLE, become accepted? People get soooo pissed off when Rosie says 9/11 was an inside job......but let C.E.O's profit BILLIONS only to watch poverty unfold right before their eyes is accepted? Man, the back of our money should say 'In Media We Trust', not God. Google Search - 'Exxon 2007 Quarter Profits' .... or see ...http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/

What I would ask you to do is for the entire month of June, not buy gasoline from any Exxon/Mobile gas station.
One day as in the May 15th boycott is not enough to make an impression, but a month is.
Between now and mid June we can figure out who the lucky winner for July will be.
I realize this will mean driving all the way around the corner to buy your gas at the Shell station, but if it gets the oil companies attention it will be worth it.
I would also ask that you enlist as many participants as possible, e-mail every one you know and ask them to do the same. If you have a Myspace or any other means to get the word out ,please do.
Even if you are sceptical, please participate.

So, will you help?

I am sooo friggin' sick of hearing questions like, "So, what part of New Orleans are you from?" every time I mention that I lost everything in Katrina. How come no one remembers that New Orleans received their flooding AFTER Katrina razed Mississippi's Gulf Coast and other parts of Louisiana (besides New Orleans), and tore up parts of Alabama, too? Hey, at least New Orleans had roofs to sit on...most folks in Mississippi didn't even have roofs left!

The audience laughed aloud at a verbal slip by Bush when he said the Queen had dined with 10 U.S. presidents and had helped the United States "celebrate its bicentennial in 17 ... ." Bush caught himself and corrected the date to 1976." (probably after 30 cue cards were being waved in his face...*S*)

Bush joked that the Queen just "gave me a look that only a mother could give a child."

(Wonder what she was REALLY thinking....)

A quick google search will show you that there's a potentially Huge Gas Boycott being scheduled for May15th. Now granted, the problem is dependency, and how much gas you USE. I understand that even if sales fall %50 on May15th, they'll probably rise 100% on the 16th, cause now people are on Empty :-). Once again, the problem no doubt is DEPENDENCY. Never the less, I think Americans should come together, and excerise our Consumer Buying Power.

It's not going to change the world, we're not leaving Iraq on May16th. In order for that to happen, the 'Status Quo' must be changed, and that's nothing short of a Revolution. Trillions of Dollars are at stake, and they won't give it up without a fight.

In closing, we need to start concentrating on Cheaper/Renewable energies that are widely available. Water - Electricity - Magnetic - Helium3 - Hemp Seeds. The list goes on an on. Please Google 'Stan Myers' for proof, fully functional water powered vehicles have already been invented.

There's millions of people in the United States that are having a hard time with the high gas prices. Is there anything we can do? I mean besides banning the gas stations for a day, because it's obvious that doesn't work.

I just recieved a chain letter that read as following:
Dear
Children started this chain letter in 1996. If not broken in the spring of 2007, it will be entered in the Guinness Book of World Records, along with the names of everybody that took part on it.
This chain letter has not been broken, so please keep it going. All you have to do is type or copy this letter and send it by mail.
Mailing this letter is FREE. No stamps are necessary. Just write “Guinness Book of World Records for Children” in the spot where the stamp should be. The reason you have to send it by mail is so the post office will know who broke the chain.
You have four (4) days to send this letter to seven (7) people under the age of 16. The day you get this letter counts as one of your four days.
In a few days you will get a thanking letter for your part.
It would be really cool to see your name in a Guinness Book of World Records. SO PLEASE DO NOT THROW THIS LETTER AWAY!!
Thank you,
Your Friend,
