Ullrich, Pantani and now Basso. How come did LA's doctors manage to hide the truth for so long?

Fredo Mendo: it's not about God given talent but about illegal transfusions that are undetectable in the currect state of blood-testing medical technology. Ask Ivan Basso and Jan Ullrich, they will tell you the same thing. Have a good day.

Forget it - Lance Armstrong is Bush's buddy, and he'll never get caught..... just like the "choking on a pretzel" farce.

One can't "explain" an unproven accusation, he can only repeat it. Armstrong wasn't just tested by his own doctors, but rather he was tested randomly by international cycling officials, including Tour de France officials who were determined to show that he was cheating. In all his years of competing, Armstrong never once tested positive for banned substances. All those who have accused him of cheating over the years were people with a known ax to grind. Never has there been a credible charge. Some people, such as Armstrong, Tiger Woods and Michael Jordon, through relentless training, determination and God-given talent are simply better than everyone else at what they do and it is highly cynical to assume that one can only be a dominant athlete by cheating.

Why does it matter to you, it's over. Like so many of our sports figures that are in the news today that have been accused of crimes like drugs, rape, illegal betting, it goes on and on.
These people were once looked upon by the youth of the Country as hero's. Now, it's who beat the law.
I believe they make so much money now, they believe they're above the law and can get away with what they wish and, get the approval of the crowds.
Hockey players that get out of rape cases, ball players that get off on drug cases that send street people to prison. It's bleeding down into the high schools now. We recently had five high school players accused of rape. The girl was coerced into not showing up or coming to court, to make it simple. They were charged with simple molestation and given 90 days, released on probation. Their friends were elated. What kind of picture does this send to others?

So, if you want to carry on your burden of proof, good luck.
